My guildies have no aim

We were pushing the enemy back into their own base..., killed the archer nearest to us. A guildie fired the catapult and somehow I manage to die whilst outside the base?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I didnt know it was possible.

You cannot "Aim" the catapult, it shoots in the same place all the time..

No, it's a random drop.

I've killed over 600 men with catapults, I've kept records. I know.

a lot of people do not know that, but the catapult is indeed a random drop, and it can hit just inside the gate, which basically means the AoE blast will reach outside the base.

better keep your distance next time :P

If your strategy involves you being close to the gate during a siege, just ask your monk to put protective spirit on you. Otherwise just stay the hell away from the gate.

Also, rangers with morale boost can survive a cata attack.

that's cause catapults do elemental damage :P

the best character to block NPCs in is a ranger indeed
