Dumbest thing that you've done in Guild Wars

NEARLY (caught myself at the last moment) went out into PvE with no attribute points in anything. Here's why:

I was showing GW to a friend of mine and explaining why you can only get to lvl 20, what this means, why this is, and so on. I couldn't remember the total number of attribute points you could get, and since I couldn't be bothered looking it up, I just depleted everything to zero and the total was there at the top. Problem solved, ended explanation, logged off, forgot about it.

Maybe not so much dumb as lazy and forgetful ^_^

buying factions.

Buying tanned hide at 700g when i was a noob, back then

chestrunning for almost an hour with 0 points in tactic. took me a lot to realize i forgot to restore my attrib points after i switched 12 in tactics to 12 in swordmanship to test a weapon.
for a good hour i wasn't truly able to understand why healing sig was only 40hp and charge lasted so short

running for a week with a r8 strenght shield, believing it was r8 tactics

lol

Smite running with my 55 wondering why I had to spam ps so often.... of course attrib points in wrong field.

Still managed to clear everything though.

When I was a noob I sold a customized weapon to someone. In public chat they announced I was a scammer I now realizing selling customized things was bad refunded them and cleared my scammer status. eee i put the noob in noob (not one any more tho...at least i hope lol)

When the Factions game was young I bought Ghial's Staff with my warrior for 125k () and was so happy that I had finally got the weapon I really wanted for my necro that I customised it.....
.......as my warrior..... "OH, SH--..." . I wasn't happy anymore... Plus the fact I owed my cousin 30k which I borrowed to buy it (he was rich at the time), when after buyin it I was skint. That didn't help either. Luckily I made the 30k back in a couple of days from extensive periods of Vermin farmin, but 155k was flushed down the pan in a couple of hours in one day... oops.

I woke up early for chest run weekend, because really I already loved chest running. My coffee was still brewing, but I wanted to get started. One of the Alliance guys was selling keys for 500g ea. I said I'd take all he had.

He put 50+ in trade window. I checked my plat -- 40k. Told him "I've only got 40k, better make it 20 keys." He puts 20 keys up, I put 40k, click accept and go running.

It still took me 30 minutes to realize what happened!

Selling my first Black Dye for 3K.

Got tricked by my GF into drinking sake...

Logs onto GW, see some guy selling some, I told him I'd buy 100k worth of Ectos... he puts in 15 ectos, I put in around 98.5k or something, hit accept...

After a while, I went to my storage to retrive another 100k for more ectos, but it wouldn't let me withdraw any...after 1 minute of trying to figuring out why I couldn't, I realised I bought them for 985g ><

Doing mayhem in the market

Clicking "sell" too fast at Merchant and accidently selling a piece of 15k armor.

- Back in the old days when +25-30hp mods went for 25k+, I sold a +27 for 500g =(

My first time I did the Fort Ranik Mission, it was with my mes, we turned the corner into the main area, killed the few charr. Then I looked on my radar, and saw a few more to kill, charged head long into them and lasted maybe 5 seconds, took our nuker with me. Luckily the other 2 stayed behind to activate the vid.

Bought a gold 14%>50% Gladius for 75k at the great inflation period (June-July 2005)




And I still keep it in my storage.

Running through the game on my necro. My very first character, died 1708 times in the last 14 months (Bearing in mind that I only died like 1600 in the first two months).

Couldn ever figure out why I died so much and it took me forever to kill stuff, until I was standing in Ring Of Fire and Some guy says. "LoL that is Pre Armor" and I'm like WTF is pre Armor, this Armor rocks. Needless to say for 2 months I never knew you could buy armor, or upgrade weapons.

Pre Armor rocks ... lol.

Side Note: Partner's story ...

He wanted a white tiger and asked a Guildie how to make his normal tiger white. Was told to get 3 silver and 1 dye remover, mix them and apply to pet. he did this a few times, before he went back to ask the guildie what he was doing wrong. hrmm .. let's say I still hold the cake on dumb things done in game and I still do it. lol

where to start...well let see first time thru last days dawn partner said to bring a heal for the king...I was w/r...brought Comfort Animal to heal the king. Worked out well as i just ran in circles pinging comfort animal...

The wife's story: She attempted to cap skills from other players in random arenas with a cap sig. needless to say she is always entertaining.
