I farm trolls in the caves just outside of Droks, is there anywhere better to farm them? They usually don't spawn enough of them. I find about 10-15 in there, then I have to go back to town and repeat. I wish I could make these runs more productive.

Not to mention, should I make a build that can destroy the bosses? With my build, they can't kill me, but I can't kill them either. Is it worth killing them, do they drop anything special?

troll farming is not very profitable and tell me the build you are using, ussually you can pick off the ranger boss if you throw disrupting chop in there

Is there any sort of farming that is more profitable? This seems profitable enough. I've made about 80k in 12 hours. If there is somethingg better out there, I want to know about it.

With a 55 monk I make about 2k every 10 min run (I farm the avicara as well). 6k an hour is FoWesque. Not bad for something that doesn't require pay and is 15 times as easy.

6k is FoWesque!?! i can make 10-12k an hour vermin farming FoW must be shit if that is corect

Troll are very good for farming becuase you simply run to the cave aggro as many as you can and wait for them to drop
I dont kill bosses because they take to much to kill

i average about 20k an hour soloing trolls, 6k an hour soloing FoW, and 15k an hour solo farming totem axes. soloing FoW (spider cave) is very slow, and not near as profitable as it used to be (they jacked up drop rate there)

Ecto farming is still the ultimate profit farm. Depending on your luck you'll get 2-4 ectos per hour aswell as rares, remains and generous amounts of gold.

I farmed underworld for 5 hours and got 1 ecto. Explain that in your ultimate calculations

I farm trolls with my w/e build and each farm run takes between a minute to a minute and a half with run to trolls included. These runs can bag you quite a bit of money, especially since trolls can drop black dyes. Add to that the weapon drops and salvaging for mods (I've had a 20/20 sword mod which I exchanged for Kannaxai's axe). Oh and don't forget shiverpeak keys, which can be used on chest runs for more Mod money.

Thanas could you post that w/e build? I've seen alot of w/e's runnin out of droks but I cant figure what build they're using. Glads Def just doesnt cut it for fast money with trolls lol.

Troll farming with a Rt/Me takes 60-90 seconds.

My calculations [Without anti-farming]

Every run takes 75 seconds. Theres 3600 seconds in an hour. 3600/75=48 So, you can do 48 runs an hour. On average, you get 800g/run (estimate) minus profitable golds. 48x800=38,400 Thats 38.4k gold an hour you can get without AFC. If thats not alot of gold/hour, please tell me what is.

I wasnt referring to trolls in general, I meant the skill Glads Def used in a w/mo build. Maybe used in A w/e build Glads Def+OYK would be great.

But you dont take inoto acount the time you have to take to sell all of your crap when all of your bags fill up. Or returning to town period. Thats half the time right there.

The extra 15 seconds it takes everytime your bags fill up is gonna make a HUUUGE difference. If your bags filled up fully every 3 runs, you'd have to go to the armor guy 16 times. If it took an extra 15 seconds to get to him, it would add 240 seconds. Thats taking out 3 runs. so you lose 2.4k, so the total is 36,000g/hour.
