Uninstalling GW + losing characters?

I need to temporarily uninstall Guild Wars and will be installing it again very soon over the next couple of days .. I want to know whether my charcters will be erased or my whole account? I shouldn't of thought so because it's registered with my e-mail... thanks in advance!

no...... absolutely none of your account or character data is stored locally

All your account details are stored on the GW server.
If you can, copy your GW.dat file do another drive, then when you reinstall, copy it back to the folder you plan to install to (even if you have to create a new folder manually): That way you waste no time downloading.

Your account is saved on the GW server so even you unninstall GW there will be absolutly no problem with your account
