The Glint Connection

Is Glint actually Gwen? I ve heard this at some point. Thinking about it Gwen was there when you started and Glint seemed to know that your destiny did not end laying on her cave floor.... you heard this alot if you couldnt beat Glint. Just a thought.

I don't see any connection at all there. Ya, Gwen was at the beggining of the game, and Glint knows you don't die on the cave floor...so what do they have to do with each other???

Not everyone went for the bonus, because not everyone actually cared. So why would people hear this alot if they couldn't beat Glint? You have still completed the mission just by getting to glint. You don't have to listen to it more than once.

I'd like to see how you made the connection between Gwen being at the beggining of the game and Glint telling you later on that your story does not end, halfway through the story...

I want to know how he confused a 3000 year old dragon with a 7 year old girl.

I'm kind of wondering why the OP cares, since GW is a dying game, according to them. Other than that, I don't see the connection at all.

They should make a new expanded area, Gwen's Lair. Exactly the same as Dragon's Lair, only harder and with Gwen at the end, only now she's 9 years old (it was only 2 years).

But really, Gwen =/= Glint

Glint = Dragon old as Tyria
Gwen = Little pyro girl with issues.

Maybe Gwen is Glint undercover.. keeping an eye on things as you progress.. and then dissappears when you to post.. maybe this thread is just silly

can someone explain to me wats the big thing about Gwen, please. I know that shes a little girl u can do a quest for in pre but thats about it

There were numerous hints about Gwen living on after the searing at various points in Tyria and Gwen's dead mother speaking of her in underworld, wondering where she was which lead people to believe there was something to do with a quest.

Gwen was the little pyro who killed everyone at the end of the original Beta testing.

There was a thread on this a good while back, I just wish the search wasn't broken.

More or less it is just that people don't like loose ends. Unfortunately, Prophecies left more than a few, especially in the Gwen line. People probably would have just let it go, but Arenanet left reminders of Gwen throughout the game. The place was littered with broken flutes, torn capes, and even ghosts talking about her in the highest levels of the game.

When I saw the title of this thread, I automatically started singing "The Rainbow Connection" in my head. Now it's gonna be stuck there all day...
