He's correct. Each additional level now provides an inherent effect of -1 damage received and +3 damage inflicted. Didn't you get the memo?

i think the guy was trying to say that at lvl 1 you will beat a lvl 1 for less damage then you would at lvl 20

True, if you keep fire magic at 0 from level one... and fire off a flare, it still does slightly more damage, but this only applies to Casters i believe.

He's completely right, spell damage, attack damage, and critical hits all go up as you go up in levels, relative to your enemies, e.g. a warrior will do more damage to a level 10 enemy with 60 AL than a level 20 enemy with 60 AL, and a level 10 warrior will do less damage to a level 10 enemy than a level 20 warrior would do.

Ah, the OP posted a screenshot of himself and someone else chatting. Someone said that "level doesnt just give you more hp per level, it also directly affects damage" <- this guy is right by the way.
the OP essentially called him a noob, and told him he took a screenshot that was then going to be posted on the internet.
