The one thing I never expected to happen in a PUG.

Yeah, I was messing around in HA international with my EQ/AS warder and we were accepting all these random adds. Then all of a sudden WHOA! Are you serious!

Our celebrity was a pretty cool guy, he pugged with us for 3 games and a friend of mine was translating things into korean for him. He called key targets out instantly and even after we got wiped by a nasty dual smite team he stayed around and helped us rebuild the party.

So for all of you who say pugging in the tournament is noobs... well pros pug too! Never expected someone like him from a tier so high would just randomly join our rag tag army. On top of that he was a big help and didn't talk to us like noobs, ragequit after we lost or anything.

WM ftw

What a crazy PuG... cool guy tho, I'll def. hoping they do well in this next GWWC season. Nice to know people that play pro still stick around and have fun with us noobsters every now and then.

Is that the same cape that WM has in actuallity? I can't seem to recall. That might actually be a guild with the same tag =/

Check out that silver trim, you can't dupe that. Yep he was the real thing.

Ah, I guess I should change the gamma of my computer, seeing that I can't really see a trim ><

I'll believe you though.

Yeah he was cool as hell, only have good things to say about him unexpectedly pugging with us. We had one guy Err7 and he still stayed around to play with us even tho we had a henchie.

Hey, this computer is old and the colours don't even show up properly. Why do you think I'm posting on a forum instead of playing a game instead?

This computer can't handle anything =_=

I honestly find nothing remarkable about this. So a guy from War Machine was playing Randomway. Big deal.

It's just that not many people get to play with a highly successful player when it comes to PvP.

Meh, high ranks randomway it all the time. It's quite fun and with the exception of a few people who don't catch on to the obvious nature of the group, everyone usually automatically understands that it's randomway. So it's nice because you run in no stress or worries and just kill stuff. You get killed, you go back in a few times then ppl split or w/e.
Everyone should try it out every once in a while, it's a great way to throw out the stress of having been in a serious group for a while.

You are blind if you miss the message this sends to anyone who wants to pvp but is afraid those who are good at it look down upon anyone who tries to pvp.

When someone in a top pvp guild does what the guy in WM did, it can only foster interest in pvp.

It doesn't help the myth that pvpers are eliteist when the people on the other side help keep the falsehood alive by discounting what happened.

No, it means WM doesn't usually (at all?) do HA as a guild. He's also not likely to have a high ranking, if any at all, like most top guilds do. Honestly, I can't even think of a korean guild that does HA regularly or think of the last time I've seen them hold favor, so he'd have nothing to do but PUG it.

Thanks for pointing that out, this was actually my goal of the thread. I know PvP is suffering from mass elitist but having something like this happens shows that even at the highest end of the ladder there are still people willing to just have fun rather than get caught up in fame farming so that they can just troll down on other groups.

Or, he's just a nice guy and wants to help others still getting their feet wet. I've played with WM people, they are, with the exception of iQ, some of the nicest people I've GvG'd with from high ranked guilds.

War Machine [WM] has 100 members, 10 on its tournament roster.
besides the core, the rest of War machine arnt exactly 'top' tier, considering there is members who havent signed on in 2-3 months or go to Random arenas korean district 1, you'll see a bunch of people with the WM tag / cape that uve never heard of, and are horrrible, the only req to get into WM is to have a korean account playing on korean servers, but i think the main WM is full and they are sending people to Universal now, anyways grats @ playing with the korean equivalant of XoO =/

I'm quite sure some of the high-ranked players would accept a player with silver trim.
