Squeeeeeeeeeal Like a Paragon, Boy!

Am I the only one who hates the noise the Paragon spear attacks make?

For those that haven't heard it, it's like a gunshot followed by a little girl's high pitched squeal. I realize it's not supposed to sound that way, but it does. I finally had to turn my effects sound off.

Check your sound settings for "effects". When I've got mine up I can hear all the paragons squealing in AB.

Wow, anet is probably sick of little babies crying because they dont like the sound effect of the spear. Sheesh people will complain about anything

If it were an occasional thing, then yeah it would be a pretty nit-picky issue, but it's every spear attack they have (at least in the prebuilds). Enter an AB and the sound is multiplied by all the paragons around you. I personally don't want to hear a little girl squeal every time I attack something, or every time I'm in a battle with a paragon. It's an annoying high-pitched sound.

The only alternative is for me to shut my sound off, which is not a great alternative. I like to actually hear the sounds of the game and have not found any to date that bother me like this one does. I'm surprised more people aren't vocal about being annoyed by the sound.

Turn up your effects volume and have a listen. Go into a 15 minute AB with a paragon and then come back and complain about my complaining if you enjoy the sound it makes.

Are ppl just stupid these days...

U get those same high pitched skills for some ranger shots, i've noticed a few ranged attacks have those squeals, shut up and deal with it
