Seems lots of character skins are coming off..Another one of ANet's update side effects. =/

That's not just "the skin coming off", that's wireframe mode, a graphical mode used during early stages of development to visualize the model. I can only guess a dev was messing with the server while you were playing.

Its like Spiderman webbed you down.

Thats your characters "mesh", its what the "skin" texture goes on, and probably contains a bone-joint sytem for character animation, as thats a fairly common method. I cant imagine why you would be getting retextured, but it looks like thats what happened, and it just failed to complete or something.

Oh my, you seem to be one of those wire things from Super Smash Brothers.

yeah thats a wireframe... everything in video games is made out of that basically w/ just textures applied to it.

Yeah, I've seen some weird and funny stuff too. Cynn once glitched on me and her bottoms were missing for a while. She had her top and gloves and everything, but all she was wearing for bottoms was a thong. Kind of strange.
