Guys having girl chars??

Ok well i just got Guild Wars Prohecies a few days ago and love it. I decided to try out 4 different proffesions at once in the pre searing and c which one i like the most. I made a guy necromancer a girl ranger a guy warrior and a girl meser.(i cant decide which i like the best they r all so good).

So what i dont understand is that when i play on my girl ranger or girl mesmer it seems like the warriors, and sometimes other classes, come up to me and start humping me. I say err get away or i just run away, i tell them im a guy and they dont seem to care. So my questions is that do many guys have girls characters, or am i just weird? I mean is it wierd for me to have half of characters girls and the other have guys? Is this the type of game where guuys only have guy chars and girls only have girl chras? or is it the type that it does not really matter what u have? the guys can b girls and the girls can b guys.

Sry if i sound like a noob to u guys but well i guess i am lol. So if ne1 could answer this question it would be nice. Because im really confused aobut this part of the game. Other than this i really love the game so far. Thanks in advance ppl.

In-game gender has no bearing on RL gender. Lots of guys (including me) play all female characters. Most guys have at least 1 female character. We are talking about a RPG here.

Pre-searing seems to be a haven for the immature humping crap. Once you finish up there, you'll find that it drops off dramatically. Female ele & ranger dances in particular seem to attract that sort of attention, for some reason.

When some goober does that to my char, I'll move. If they follow, I ask them if they think my adam's apple is sexy. If they're persistent - I rezone, ususally to a completely different town.

Guys will play female characters because they would rather like to see a woman instead of a buff man. Girls will sometimes play as male characters so they can avoid all the harrassment. Go figure.

I play all female characters (except warrior and sometimes monk) because they dont like complete idiots.

They're "sexy".

More like, the dances are bit suggestive.

Hard though having a girl character you wanna do over so badly looks,gender,face etc, yet only thing holding you back is she capped all skills competed whole chapter 1, has 10 mill EXP, and a ton of skill points :X.

I'm a guy and all my characters are female as well. I would rather look at a female character's back side for hours on end while I play than a dude's.

ooor cause we like how men look better, or for roleplaying or for many other reasons. its not just harrassment.

im a girl and i have all female characters, and YES theres alot of wariors still humping my ele and my ranger.

well, mostly since i got the 15k armors

Warrior - male armour looks awesome on them
Monk - The girls looked like gwen stefani and er.. just no ty
Ranger - Girl always like the 15k druids
Necro - Male no reason really i just like the guys hair
Rt - Female guys look weird
Assasin - Girl liked the Kurz armour and i always thought assasins shud be nice and little
Ele - Girl they look better and most of males 15k suck
Mesmer - I like both genders so idc

Yeah nothing wrong with having different sexes in GW's.

I'm male and play a female warrior, male monk and male ranger I just think my warrior is nicer to look at and as a begginer in MORPGS I always find the female char is better received.

I make male characters so there could not be confusion wether I'm a male or female myself.

Well, ask yourself this. If you're going to spend 1000+ hours watching a character, would you prefer some sweet adorable female character, or a male character? :P That's the reason almost all my characters are female. Ranger is, Mesmer is, Ritualist is. Btw, i did start with male ranger when i first got GW. But then after a while i deleted him, and besides decided girl characters are much nicer.

I had male monk, because he had awesome dance and flex, and was kinda into Shaolin. Female monk looked... bad IMO, more like a nurse than nun. Some love it i bet but me uh no :P So definitely had to be male. I never had warrior in pve, but in pvp i make male warriors. Sorry, Xena-like female warriors are a turn of for me
