Where to farm scales?

Pretty simple request, anyone got a good location for solo farming the scale crafting material?

The easiest way is to farm vermin, you can salvage vermin hides for 4 to 5 scales each. There are multiple threads in the farming section that give you builds and such if you need one.

Ah ha, I'd seen on Wiki that these could be salvaged into scales, but the way it read I assumed that it was by no means certain.

If you're guaranteed scales from Vermin Hides then i'll pop up there tonight. I may even get a worthless green for my efforts
