It should on low graphics settings.

That video card sucks big time. 64MB on a low-end GPU will probably look like a slideshow. It may run, but it won't be pretty.

and not only is it 64, it is 64 shared.
that means it is using regular ram for vid. stuff, and v-ram is faster then normal ram
everythin else looks capable though

I wouldn't do it, especially when you can get a dell for a couple hundred more with high end graphics in a 15 inch display model.... The price on this link is before the instant 250 rebate then tack back on 100 bucks for the upgraded video card. 1000 bucks basically.

or for an AMD Flavor with a 17 inch, dvd-r/rw, but no wireless and only the ati express 200m (still a decent card though and plays full rez in gw well) for $900

or shop around for high-end refurbished machines

Why anyone would buy a gateway after all the failures of the company is beyond me I don't think anyone suggests getting a laptop for gaming unless they are willing to spend some big bucks...

The Dells $300 more, without the card, but if you have at leat 1GB of memory(it can use up to 224MB of RAM for video), you should be ok. I agree on the 64MB graphics, though, these days, you really should get a 128MB card minimum for gaming.
