Press "I", then click on your amor and drag it to the inventory.

I was dancing too, but not naked. Anyways I did it when it started then I got bored and started farming.

I find it amazing that one of the most highly anticipated games of the year degenerated into dancing around the campfire. If those who found the need to dance more important than farming or exploring, I'll gladly take the $50 you would spend on the game and donate it to charity where it will do some good.

There wasn't an area on the map I didn't find the time to explore (including finding my way over the snow covered mountains), and I discovered a unique source to farm salvagables. If those of you had bothered to spend the time exploring instead of dancing, when the game releases you won't be complaining about the lack of or difficulty in obtaining important resources.

Maybe I have more passion about the concept of the game than some do, but I think time spent LEARNING about the game when the opportunity presents itself is more important than seeing yourself in a screenshot.

PhineasToke you seem to be a bit anal about the GAME.I have done more deals dancein around the campfire.and if you didn't attend one of the bwe
end partys around the campfire or on the boat is your loss. and how is spending 20 min at the end of the weekend any more or less a waste of time
than playing any mmorpg game.
So you like to explore so do i however i know a few peps that just play the guild side and dont explore.and mabe just maybe the one danceing is afk
havin a smoke or watering the porcilin planter.or gee they might be waiting for a guild member to join them to go on a mission.............
I have only spent $5 on preorder so your $50 comment makes no sence at this time.

the game is about fun, if they "wasted" 20 minutes having fun, then I'd say it's not wasted.

Good argument the whole game could be considered a waste of time. If I were you I wouldn't buy it. Leave it to the peps that want to waste time. By the way I started of the weekend with 3k gold I spent and gave away all of it. I gave 1k away to needy players and ended the weekend with almost 6k gold. And I still found time to waste. Any one need a 17-32 hammer find me at the next beta event dance for me naked, first person gets it free. The second person to find me and dance naked gets 500 gold.

Somehow I knew (after reading your reply) it wouldn't make sense to you. If you think passion is anal, I imagine your life will be passionless. As I said previously, if the point of playing one of the best games to come out in this new Century is to see yourself dancing on the screen, I have a concept called Broadway you could be interested in. If you want to spend $50 to do cute tricks to impress others of like mind, have at it. I'll stick to playing the game as it is meant to be played.

PhineasToke, geez what's wrong with you? Have you ever heard the phrase, "To each his own"? Who decided that you are the one to define how this game should be played? And why should your idea of fun be ours, too?

By the way, according to you, how should the /dance emote be used properly?

Get a life.

Let me get this straight... you crossed ice sheets to recover a rake and a bunch of seeds?
I spent almost the entire weekend exploring and missioning. I got to level 9. What did you do... farm? *clap*
Maybe you should just give me the $50.00 for me to put into a new video card... you can go buy Neverwinter Nights. You can do well in farming there.
Maybe I have more passion about the concept of the game than you do, but I think time spent making a good character for actually fighting monsters (the main part of the game) when the opportunity presents itself is more than planting some seeds and sitting and watching them grow.

Default oh dear mr. toke

I just don't know what to do with this one. There are so many ways to go. I'll just try and keep it short and poignant.

This was a BWE, when the real game comes out you will have to start anew. In the last 20 mins of the game late at night you're not going to learn any new groundbreaking information that will revolutionize your approach to the game in any way. If people want to have a closing ceremony, fine! No one said you had to join in; just let it go.

This is an RPG. That means you roleplay . Different characters will have different personalities therefore some will like to be more light-hearted partiers at the end and some will like to remain more focused like yourself. It is not for you to judge who's "worthy" enough to purchase this game. It is not for ANYONE to judge who is worthy enough to purchase this game. People can get as much out of this game as they want and as long as they have fun that is ALL that matters.

A computer game is a computer game, the money is no more wasted in one instance than another. I find it completely unacceptable that you condone others for getting this GAME in which they find joy and happiness and so I will not take cheap shots at you I will only ask that you let people decide for themselves how much they want to get out of this game, accept that as reality, and move on.

Ahem...well, I think I'll move away from that bit of an argument to the original purpose of the thread: Funky party shots. I was the warrior dancing closest to the fire in some of those shots, and I found disturbing evidence of moral decay in Ascalon!

At first, I was shocked and tried to tell others.

But eventually, I could stand the sight no longer.

I had a bad experience with people dancing on last Saturday night. I had to go to the bathroom quick, so I was gone for only about a minute. And what is the first thing that I see when I come back? A dirty male Necromancer grinding against me, and William the Silent just standing there laughing at me. Doesn't really bother me, just one of those things where you have to sit there for a second and say, "Ewwwwww..."

And what's wrong with having a little bit of fun Toke? It's not like they're totally naked anyway. The only thing which might be kind of weird would be for our breakdancing Rangers, since they'll be spinning around on the ground with their legs spread apart......

....Ewwwwww.

PhineasToke, I started a level 1 character last beta and explored the entire map of Guild Wars, I also leveled my character up to beyond level 20 (I earned an extra skill point). I completed every single mission more than three times each, and I got all of the skills required for my test builds. I also crafted an entire set of Knight's Armor from Ventari's Refuge, and dyed it all pink.

I am in that dance group, my name is Hugo the Horrible. If you look in the chat box of the very first picture, that is me saying "hahahahahha". It occured at the very last half hour of the beta weekend. It was going to be over with in the next half hour, so my guildies and I (and apparently a lot of other people) decided to have some fun and enjoy their final minutes of Guild Wars for the next month, by dancing their hearts out.

You're just being a douchebag about this. Just because someone chose to have a little bit of silly fun for a couple minutes doesn't mean they don't play the game to its fullest.

Unfortunately I don't have pics from earlier in the beta, but here are some towards the end.

The only problem with the dancing is that they need to get the girls body parts to flow better. IE jiggle, sway, bounce.

Surprised nobody else noticed this. Look at the first image posted, lower right corner. The character to the left of the compass.

What is with those lines?

I spent the better part of the Beta Weekend exploring in fact I was lvl 7 before I even went to the Academe, But it was a toss up where I had the most fun on the quests or Danceing. I was one of those Spining Rangers . But less Talk more Pics.
