And yes, only me and the golem are involved. Anyone else nearby is dead.

If you can't figure out what's going on in that picture, look at what weapon I'm fighting the golem with.

I've had this happen before but my screen usually "jumps" after a few seconds and all is right...not sure what would cause that though

Not this time. It was wierd- I targeted the golem, and actually started running away from him. And then started attacking from that postion.

The standoff pictured took probably 5 seconds, but the whole encounter was buggy.

that happends quite a bit. it's quite rare though. It's just caused from lag and game predicting what you're doing, and their inconsistancies.

Given 100+ hours of play and it happening only once an hour, it happens quite a bit yet is still rare. I get it every now and then too, and my worst bug/complaint is the immediate warping on my screen to the target, but I'm actually still running in the 1's and 0's. I see this, and I hit the cyclone axe button because there are 3-4 baddies right next to me, and I end up doing a pirouette in midair missing everyone and wasting 1/4 of my precious energy. Yes, I'm still at 20 energy as a level 17 warrior/monk. I got rid of my gladiator armor, and I'm now feeling the hit.
