Aeroth presents, Guild Wars: Class #1 (Movie)
Yes, another movie by me.
Here's a description:
Quote:
Guild Wars: Class #1 is the story of a Ranger named Aeroth Aerobrandt as he delves into the world of Guild Wars and discovers strange new things like attributes and quest logs.
Guided by loads of text, the viewer is introduced to the very basics of Guild Wars gameplay, yet it's done in a story-like manner.
With some effects and a fair amount of syncing, the movie should remain interesting - while also quite informative.
The idea came as I created a new character and saw dozens of newbies asking the same questions over and over again, I figured a movie like this might help at least some of them to understand the basics - or it might relieve the stress from our shoulders of continually having to explain how to craft armors and the like... experienced players can just provide a link to this movie and newbies with questions will see a fair amount of them answered in just 9 minutes of their time.
This is the first installment, I want to see what people think of it before going on with class #2. If this turns out to be a succes, expect a class #2, introducing you to the PvP Arena's and PvE Missions, soon.
Enjoy!

It's 133 MB large, 640x480 resolution - and runs for 08:59 minutes.
I recommend you watch it in full screen, it's easier to follow that way...
I think I finally got the hang of the compression thing, it's at 15 MB/Min and of fairly high quality.
Anyway, here's the link: http://files.filefront.com/Guild_War.../fileinfo.html
Have Fun ;p
NOTE: I've used WinRAR to put it in a .RAR file (including the movie, a readme file, the DivX codec required to play the movie & a sample screenshot) so you'll have to use WinRAR to unpack it.
WinRAR can be downloaded here: http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm
If the movie won't play: use the DivX installer in the .RAR file!

Filefront was down for a few days, but they're (for the most part) back up now.
The download should work on most of the available public servers now.
enjoy.

That's odd..
Filefront must have forwarded you to the wrong file :S
They've been having a bit of trouble since around thursday last week.
Their servers are mostly back up again, but it could be that some files are still not properly redirected to on some servers.

It worked fine for me.
Good job by the way. Hopefully it will help some of the newer players get a good start.
