Time Compression?
These shots are of a graphics bug I encountered after leaving a mission to restart it. I got a message in AIM right as I hit the button to map travel back to Sanctum Cay, so I minimized at the load screen. Upon restoring, the graphics looked like this:
Everything had a trail to it when I moved the camera, and the shadow colors and textures were just hella weird on anything static. It reminded me of the Time Compression scenes in Final Fantasy VIII. I reloaded the area and the glitch was fixed, but I easily recreated it several times again to make sure it wasn't anything random.
Probably just a problem with flushing the framebuffers when the game minimizes. I did file a bug report, but it's really not harmful in any way (though I suppose if it works with towns it might work with instanced areas, too, and having that happen on a mission would be like trying to fight a war on acid). So how about you guys give it a try before ANet gets around to fixing it (if they do)? Post any cool screenshots you make in this way.
