Female Elementalist Granite Citadel 15k Hydromancer Armor
First set of pics is my Droknar's 1.5k set. I'm posting it so people can see the difference between the 1.5k set and the 15k set.
I believe the colors used were:
Body: Green + Yellow
Skirt: Red
Feet: Yellow + Orange (I think?)
Arms: Yellow + Red + Green (I think?)
Second set of pics is my 15k Hydromancer armor before I used any dye on it.
Third set of pics is after I died it.
colors used:
Body: I think this was straight orange, but I might have mixed yellow + orange.
Skirt: Blue (I had originally used Blue + Silver but was unhappy so used Blue to put it back to the "undyed" look)
Feet: Red + Silver
Arms: Green
I saw someone walking around with this set dyed all black and IMO it did not look good.

Is it just me or do all the elementalist 15k versions look basically the same as their cheaper counterparts?

The 15K got rid of the gray and added a 'shimmer' to the hydro set. At least that's what it looks like to me.

Yes. My own armor is dyed with a mix of purple + red + silver. You hafta mix the bottles though before you put it on the armor. Double click the dye and then click on the dye to mix it to. You'll get a new bottle that says 'mixed'. If you want to do your whole armor then you need to mix each bottle the same way for consistency.

Minor texture changes were done, I SOOOO look forward to the updates, elementals got hosed the most. when far away it is hard to tell the diff at all.

I am quite happy with the 15k version.
Differences:
It got rid of the gray and used white instead.
It added a shimmer effect--the clothes look metallic in-game.
The dye-patterns are inverted (you now dye the opposite parts of the regular armor--look at the icicles on the skirt)
The arm sleeves have an extra "cuff".
All in all, it is a much cleaner looking set of armor and looks "expensive" compared to the 1.5k set.
I'm thinking of mixing a batch of gold dye and dying the set gold. That would look nice.

It would on that armor. My Pyro armor doesn't take a metallic sheen at all. The black on it looks rather matte.

Yes, the dying sections are inverted and there is a little bit of extra detail.
I can't wait to see what the Aeromancer one looks like when they finally get around to making it.

dude, I saw 15k Hydro died gold on a random person.
Looked fantastic, imo. Anyone who says 15k Hydro isn't worth it........they're wrong. It's, in my opinion, my favorite 15k ele armor (not including fissure).

Fissure looks so lame, well the male one does anyway. I haven't seen it in-game, only in screenshots, but the obsidian spikes look very rushed and just tacked on.
