Necro Dye pictures please
I'm trying to find a good colour to dye my necro's armour.
My other character is an elementalist, and the dyes are so bright and vibrant on him. I'm a bit disappointed at how the colours look on the necro.
I'm currently wearing just the plain old Necromancer Armour. I'd like a nice bright reddish-pink colour, but anything that looks good would do.
Also, I'm interested to know what colour the facial scar pattern goes when dyed black or silver.

Anyway heres a pic of my necro wearing One of the more expensive bonelace armors doing a drake run in Gates of Kryta
Scar Pattern - Silver
Tunic - Purple
Gloves - Silver + Yellow Mixed = Gold
Leggings - Purple
Boots - Purple

Yeah, purple is quite nice. The silver+yellow comes out a bit dirty looking for my likes.
I can't really see the scar, could we get a close-up?

Would but just got a new scar pattern about 10 seconds ago from the collector in the amnoon Oasis and threw that one out sorry. It only looks dirty because of the quality otherwise it looks good.

I dyed my bonelace armor gold, but the mix was not just silver and yellow (I agree, it was too dirty). My mix cost me a lot of money, but it was 2 silver, a yellow, and an orange. It was a very good turn out, I get compliments about the coloring a lot.

My necro (IGN the same) has the darkest skin color, and he's also minimum size.
He's in full Scar armor, so he's basically wearing a diaper. I used blue dye on all the Scars, and blue followed by red on the facial scars so that they match the body scars.
It resulted in a purplish tattoo pattern on jet-black skin - very mean looking.

Thats a pretty nice bonelace youve got going on there but it still does look dirty. I wasnt going for a gold when i made mine i was just experimenting and i thought it would be something different i saw.

That does look a lot more like gold, but again, it's still very dark and dusty looking. Is there no way to get a decent bright or vibrant colour without having to resort to Green?

i was expecting gold to be shiny and bright like the white mantels. oh well i wanted shiny too. so i opted for just plain yellow but even that i found it looked dirty on my necro with tormentor armor. I think necro armor is just dirty in general. Unclean! unclean!

Azreal could be right about just necro armor being dirty, but a suggestion for my gold dyed armor, try adding another silver, so it would be 3 silver, 1 orange, 1 yellow. It could add more shine to it, even though it would cost more...

I haven't tried a necro facial scar dyed black or silver, but it's always good to try out the other colors with the PvP character creation options.
The thing I've always liked about necro armors is that they always dye just how you'd expect them to. Yellow will turn out yellow, purple will turn out purple, etc.
When I tried the necro face scars I noticed that if you dyed it purple it would turn teal. (blueish green)
So I dyed that teal, and then tried to find the right color combination for the armor to match it.
Here's my 15k cultist's set dyed teal.
The color combination, for each piece, is 2 blues and 1 green dye. Comes out really nice I think. Never seen another necro with the color scheme before.

The reason why scar patterns tend to NOT be the same color of the dye is realism. The color mixes with the color of the skin thus making that color......
But anyways here is my Blood necro in his 15k/8k armor
I only used one "dye" yellow mixed with dye remover.
(the boots are undyed)

How did you make that pink? And does it look any good on the non-15k armour?
