Glint dead, game over, nothing more to see here...
Thought it was supposed to be pretty hard, but we killed Glint in a pick up group. Only one person died, that I recall.

Good job, if you figure out the trick or you're just very good, Glint is easy. Otherwise he she it? Can be quite a nuisance... lol

What was REALLY funny was the mission before, and the trip leading up to this successul end. Glint's death was the last thing on my mind when we finally got there.
On the prior mission leading up to this, I was again in a PUG, and before we started, we all agreed to make sure we all gave everyone enough time to cap skills before going though the portals. Since this was my first run though with this new character (I've finished the game with 4 others between two different accounts) in Dragon's Lair, I wanted to cap at least one, and finish so I could upgrade my armor at Droknars. Since I was playing a monk/mesmer, I primarily wanted to get Word of Healing, and things seemed to go ok at the start, we all managed to kill the first facet, got the skill capped, and we moved on.
The next facet is killed, and before anyone could cap, someone went through the portal.
One of the party members who wanted that skill was extremely pissed. Well, we were all pissed a bit (except for the jerk that went though the portal) but what can you do? No one caught the guy that did it.
So we continued on. The next facet was capped fine, then when we got to the NEXT facet, same thing, someone snuck though the portal.
The same guy that got robbed before went ballistic. It happened to be the secondary profession boss we just skipped past, and he was understandably livid.
Then things got out of hand.
Now, I can understand if I got screwed over like that, I'd be a bit upset about it, and would probably simply leave the group and find another one. But no, the wronged individual thought he would "punish" everyone since he didn't know who did it. He accused everyone before settling on me as the culprit, which was funny, since technically I got screwed out of the second skill cap (we were both secondary mesmers). But logic and reason didn't seem to matter anymore.
So, we get up to glint, have to sit through the entire cutscene (the wronged individual was the one who didn't skip, out of spite), then he rushed over, grabbed an egg, dropped the egg, and ran off to a corner while the rest of us eventually died. Our group had also lost two members, who dropped as soon as they had capped their skills almost immediately, so we had finished the whole mission basically with 6 people but had no chance of killing Glint.
So, we're all dead, except this one jerk. He simply sits in the corner away from Glint, and doesn't do anything except spew more accusations. I told him I didn't do it, but at that point, after the way he was acting I no longer felt sorry for him, and that I was going to go cook dinner.
An hour later after I finished dinner and did the dishes, I came back, and that punk was STILL sitting there in Glint's chamber. All of the other players had dropped out (thus not finishing the mission) except for my dead corpse, and the jerk.
So, I map travelled back, reloaded another cap sig, went though the mission (capping my secondary skill along the way) and killed Glint.
So, if that moron who felt we all needed to be "punished" for our screwing you out of your skills reads these forums - naaa naaa naaa naaa.

I need clarification. I have turned down the bonus and turned down groups because they are doing the bonus.
When you all die doing the bonus, do you, or do you not get the mission complete?

You still complete the mission, after you all die, she ressurects you and reforms the portal so you can leave.

Duh, it was one of these 2 guys that probably just wanted their caps that rushed thru the portal. The other possibility is that if the enemy you are attacking is too close to the portal while a warrior is fighting it, you teleport as soon as it dies....reallly sucks!
The key for Glint is not having any warriors, or as few as possible. That way you have more ranged fire power!

You need at least one to sit and take a pounding while the rest of the party kills her.

Simple, have a mes/ranger with interupts and Glint is a piece of cake....a LARGE piece that still takes some time to get down but easy nonetheless.
As long as she can't hibernate etc. She's just a big ole lizard
