yeah i took a pic with us in town too i think mixing and matching with this armor would look like shit personally. the only thing that could be used would be the helm because it will go with most other armors. dont mix and match, buy the whole set.

400k in 300 hours?
I dont believe how you could make 400k in 300 hours. First of all, you have to get to lvl 20. This means you will make plat and gold, but you also have to spend it on armor upgrades and weapons especially. Second, you dont spend all of your time farming, anyway. You need to complete missions and unless you are a zombie, you will also enjoy yourself playing in the pvp arenas, HoH, guild battles, etc. Finally, farming in this game, which I have spent considerable time doing, brings in a decent amount of money, but I have played the game for 400 hours and havent compiled 400k. Therefore N Y P D must have one nice guild that gave her their ectos and shards and gold or she ebayed what she needed. All I can say is, 400k in 300 hours? NO WAY!
I'm notta' hater, I'm a pecimist.

Buy Cheap, Sell High is often faster (easier) than farming.
Also if you find a godly rare weapon, that's like a lotto win.

LOL, i'll excuse you for your ignorance on that post. nypd is my cousin and all he does is simply trade. buys lots of stuff for low, and sells back for very high, all it takes is experience to find newbies who would sell things they have no idea about for very low, then sell it back to players who want it badly for very high. I started this game before nypd, and he's richer than me, because i'm lazy and he trades alot. it's not very hard

i agree 100% with NastyNYC. for example, i made 365k yesterday off of selling 2 items. buying low and selling high is a great way to make money, as i have done throughout my time playing guild wars. farming gets anoying when they nerf every good spot so why not make money trading.
and as for gladiator armor comment, i do not need extra energy at all. i am fine with what i have, i use an axe and mostly use adrenaline skills and for PvP i do not need any more energy. i have never had a problem which is what led me to my armor decision.

the most efficient way to do it is to win tombs and rake in the sigils. you can get ridiculously rich ridiculously quick if you are part of an organised team and can stomach getting to and winning the hall of heroes match repeatedly. not especially my cup of tea and whenever we do run for the HoH, alot of the time we get knocked out. but my guild isnt really pvp focused enough that we can consistantly win it.
as for ripping off newbies. it works but i personally have no taste for it. and i dont have the patience really to deal with some of the really obnoxious people out there that you inevitably find yourself trading with.
still, if you really want the armour bad and are willing to grind for it and sit in trade for hours then sure, its doable. for me though it saps what enjoyment i currently get out of the game. its probably why i dont have a full set of fissure armour yet and probably wont get a set for quite some time.
its pretty ironic in a way. ive played fissure and underworld many many times since release but to get a full set of fissure armour requires you to spend more time winning tombs or more time trading and spamming 'WTB shards/ecto for <insert lowball price here>' than actually playing fissure.

Brother Mhenlo, the way i get money is to buy for cheap in ascalon and sell high in Lions Arch. well, that used to work but now people are getting smarter with their prices so i do a lot of farming for upgrades and selling those. hope that helps you out

I dunno.. I thought 15k Fissure armour for male warrior looked sort of.. Eh..
Doesn't really look too cool in my opinion. I was going to get 15k platemail, but then looked at it closer, and I wasn't gonna get that either. But I like my 15k gladiator armour. Goes well with my shield.
