Rangers group = fun
Went to do Ring of Fire last night with my Ranger. My guild were all off GvG and such, so I tried to join a group, but every group said looking for monks... as a ranger I was not exactly sought after.
So I invited rangers. Yup. I had done Althea's Ashes in a 4 ranger group way back, so I figured 6 rangers and the two healer bots should do it. One ranger dropped when I took the bots (and while I'd have preferred a real healer I figured that the odds of one joining the all ranger group were pretty slim with that many people all looking for one...), so we replaced him with a nuker (as there were no more rangers in the district...), who really appreciated the Winter I ran. Anyway, here we are Amazing how well the directed recruiting works... To those who took part a big thank you, was thoroughly enjoyable, and I'll do a ranger party again anytime.

I've done an all Necro Fissure group. We did the first quest and the Wailing Lord, and then someone was "getting bored" and aggroed a bunch of stuff into us on purpose and wiped the whole party. We just had to go a little slower and stuff and be careful with pulls...I guess that makes it boring.
Groups consisting completely of one profession are really fun. Too bad I didn't take any screenshots of mine...

I saw you guys recruiting that last night! My first thoughts were that with focus fire, it should go well. Good to see that it went well. Did anybody bring pets?

Haha, done Thunderhead Keep the same way a while back.
By 'done' I mean 'doing good until killed near the end', but it still was one of the most effective parties. Accompanied by 6 pets

Yes, there was a nice big wolf that actually did a good job tanking. At least 4 of us had Healing Spring (yeah, I saw 4 numbers popping up at one point, and the lowest was in the mid 40s), and even though the wolf wasn't in the Healing Springs Mhenlo and Lina generally took good care of him. If I were to redo it I'd ensure that at least one person had choking gas on his skillbar, preferably 2, and maybe get the pet owner to bring disrupting lunge, to help deal with the imp groups and the healer boss who took forever to kill.
Anyway, if you ever do this kind of thing it's a blast Most fun I've had in ages!
