When you don't really earn it, where is the fun? I took the screenshot a little early though before it said we won but it stopped at 5 seconds. I always clap after a battle so that's how I know.

I prefer actually fighting for the faction, after all, it's an extra 8 if there are no leavers, nearly as much as for the win itself.

I've noticed a real deterioration in quality of competition arenas recently

The Arenas are goind down the drain. A lot of lamers and griefers out there. For example i was fighting with a protection monk build that heavily relied on enchantments (ok almost all of protection monk is enchantment..). I told the team and the ranger was like "sure pal".

The battle started, all enchantments have been casted and i want to regain some energy with blessed signet just to notice no energy gain but a new symbol on my bar. Natures Renewal. Followed by the spamming of the teams ranger "ahahahaaaa, ownzorized fooking noob!loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool". He put it up on purpose to screw the whole team.

Same goes with the Necro Death Nova/EoE/Putrid Spammer. They put up their damn Spirit and cast Death Nova on their team... yeah, thanks pal. Good to know you want us dead...

Well it seems, most griefing is done with spirits because you can't defend yourself against it, if someone of your team activates those you're allready affected. Sure the other team is affected as well but those griefers put the spirits up conditionally. They see people fire up Greater Conflag? They put a winter spirit. They see heavy enchantments? They put Natures Renewal. They want just everyone to die, either team or foe... Edge of Extinction. They want to annoy the hell out of the arena... Spirit Spam...
