People keep telling me that /dance* makes it synchronised but so far this hasnt worked for me, anybody care to explain? :?

you have to put a space between /dance and * so//

Well now, you can have yourself and your friends of the same animation use /emote(space)* and if they all enter it within 10 seconds of each other, they all start the animation at the same time.

Almost, they all have to enter it before the next 10 second tick occurs. If you enter it 7 seconds into the tick and your friend gets it 1 second after the tick, no sync.
