Girly Girly Gamer Question...
Hello, everyone... As you can tell by the thread title, I am an extremely girly girl in real life... My hair is bright pink and I virtually worship Hello Kitty (NO JOKE)... I'm very artsy fartsy... I have a serious, albeit pathetic in the eyes of most people, question... I request ahead of time that nobody flame me... These things seriously matter to me.
... I cannot decide WHAT in the world would be the girliest character!!!! I mean this armor wise and skill wise!!! I need some major help here as it is actually, embarassingly enough, hindering my enjoyment of the game!!!
1. I want the GIRLY GIRLIEST character possible. I don't mean smutty in any way... I mean GIRLY GIRLY... like somebody would want to dress their doll that way girly, not 'street corner' girl...
2. I want TRUE pink armor... not some nasty brown pink like I've achieved time and time again... If any of you can help me with that, I will be eternally thankful.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share opinions with me - I accept personal emails on my profile. And, once again, if ANYBODY can help me with my dye dilemma... much appreciation.
Hearts,
Winter
(((I remember, when I was in the VERY FIRST beta test for this game... you could dye your hair pink... It looked a lot like this... (I mean EARLY beta... when there was still an in game MAIL function and the menu was on the right side of the screen!):
http://www.topolla.net/armor/elementalist/f_04_05/ (I think this screenie is a result of lighting... not the pink hair from beta... anybody know where I can find screenshots of the old pink hair for elementalists anyway??? They need to bring it back!))))

Hmmmm....I suggest you go Ele/Me, The Hydromancer & Aeromancer Armor 15k armor are
one of the prettiests armors in the game, With the skills You should go with fire. Also don't make your character too tall..coz then it'll just look strange, make her petite. And with the dyes If you wanna make a nice colored pink I suggest your try red + purple, and also silver + red...I hope this helped lol (Im a girl 2^.^)

How does it feel to be a 30 year old virgin living in their mother's basement?
Get with the times, my 15 year old sisters could probably own you at halo, or even Guild Wars for that matter since she plays both, and many other games. Gaming was never just for guys :P

True pink?
Well, try Red+Purple, works on most armors.
Also, if you have the money, try Silver+Red+Purple.
I use that on my necro, and looks neat.

AUGH! You are so mean...
What, do I have to PROVE I'm a girl? If so, that is pathetic! I swear... some nerds are so paranoid about their own sexuality that they need proof of womanhood? That is SO sad. UGH. I am offended.
Anyway...
To those of you who are taking my request seriously, thank you... To those of you who are being mean well.... I have nothing nice to say to you, so I will say nothing more.

Yeah I don't think that killion was suggesting that games are for guys only. I think he was suggesting that laurel was in fact just another guy pretending to be a girl. You see alot of guys pretending to be girls, and alot of girls pretending to be guys. It's pretty odd humerous. I can agree though, you seem to be trying too hard, like you actually have to prove you're in a fact a girl. Haha sorry if its offensive, thats just the vibe I got.

what a girlie girl, hehe
yea, female eles seem to fit you the most. black aeromancer armor looks great but since you want something really girlie, pink is for you. hydromancer pink looks nice. my guildie, she has the 15k hydromancer pink armor. looks really nice. i think red+(2)purple makes a pretty nice pink. silver + red is more of a pale pink. it's up to you, good luck

I didn't mean to come across that way... I've just been playing MMORPG's since the day when men were like 'you're... a REAL girl?' 'yea... why?' 'OhmygodhiIloveyouIwishIhadagirllikeyou'... WHICH quickly became over the next two years or so 'Are you SURE you're a girl?' 'yes.' 'I don't know, you're just a guy playing a girl aren't you?' 'NO!'...
I get insulted by that... I didn't mean to 'overcompensate', if you will in my first post... I am just emphasizing my personality so people can help me decide on a character. I'm not trying to sound like a pretender.
I'm glad I'm not one!

Haha yeah I can understand why the females don't enjoy playing a femal haha. Too many pms and questions about their personal life. You do get the bonus of nothing being your fault though. At least when I play and someoenes a female it never happens to be their fault if something goes wrong. So if you're a female monk, you've got it made haha.

gah i had this whole speech thing bout ur comment..lol.. but i'll keep it simple..
As a female in RL and ingame and a monk to boot..
ur statement that female toons etc never get blamed if something goes wrong in a group isnt entirely true
I'll admit ive slipped up playing on my monk yadda yadda and i take FULL responsibility for it..
but then who hasn't done a woopsie really male or female

Wow... now that you mention it... I never really have been blamed for anything! Granted, when I mess up, I admit and take the blame... but I never get accused or chewed out for it or anything. Odd... not fair... not to say I don't like it though! *giggle*

Why do you want to prove it? You're the one spending time to look like a "girly girl"..
Anyway, I don't think it's important that ANet give us more possibilities for getting your character more gurly, because probably 100 people would appreciate it. ANet has other things on their minds now, important things.

Sexuality arguments aside - I'll just take your word that you're female, not like there's a world of difference whichever way turns out to be true.
If you want a skill-wise "girly" character - you could always try a Protection Monk - using Pacifism to stop all the fighting, etc - just for comedy value I don't imagine "girly" characters to actually want to do much fighting.
