Can't remember which ones, but they give rare scrolls. For 5 Dredge Manifestos(merchant value: 150) I got one scrolls(merchant value: 400).

It looks like compasses to me, and the collector gives hero's insight scrolls, there's another one that takes 3 enslavement stones for a berserker's insight.
