Just as M1h4iL said, you can't really 'attack' the robot. But he sure does attack you and he does hit hard! Won't spoil too much of that

It gets much more difficult AFTER you beat him when 3 Djinns come out.

The trick to defeating Djinns is to get everyone next to eachother. Djinns do a touch attack that does 400 damage, heals itself for the amount of damage it does on one target, and strips enchantments. Although! This damage is spread out to anyone near it's target. So with 8 people the damage will go as low as 50 on everyone and he'll only heal himself for 50. And remember, it strips enchantments, so no Prot Spirit it's all about raw healing and brute strength to bring them down!

That's dealing with just one. With 3 wailing away on you that'd but up to the 150dmg which is still difficult. The way I beat them though is maybe we were lucky, but we managed to pull one at a time. They aggro in a weird way and if you try coming at different angles, it's very possible to pull a single Djinn away from another.

defeated the guy some hours ago, after i finally found a party to do "Final Assault"

didn't managa to take pictures of the actual fight (i was rushing from one ragebinder to another 24/7) but i did take this panoramic view of the Furnance core :

Um... every metal "rusts" aka corrosion or oxidization, some just take longer than others, scientifically known as rate of oxidization.

iron is like the standard unit of 1 I think, Gold is like .002 being the least corrosive

The Iron Forgeman (name of robot) isn't really something you directly attack. You can't target him, so he has an unknown level. His only attacks are pulling the chains around him which makes various things fall on your parties head.

Suprisingly they aren't. They spam Flourish (Warrior elite) and their monster move (Engulfing Flames? I forget the name.). A mesmer with Blackout or Diversion will surely put the Djinn in it's place though.

thats the hard part of gw , people are strange when you are strange , ( doors ) so if your party doesnt work , its your foult also , not only others , i know sometimes , some people are really stupid , but try to be nice from the start , and try to influence the nice mood in your words to others.
i hate leavers my selfe , everytime , but everytime i go to sf , there is always a leaver.
i always stay till the last one leaves , most of the time i end up farming , 3 then 2 person.
even alone i kill sometimes, spell casting above mountains , but mostly exploring
