You might want to look at when the update that sped up the interrupts happened. Aug 25th, today is the 27th of September. So when I said about a month ago, I mean't about a month ago. Infact, before the change, my offensive skills on my ranger were Powershot, Pen Shot, Pun Shot, with Savage Shot and Distracting Shot available as needed, and for evasion, whirling, and throw dirt, final slot was taken up by either storm chaser or a res sig. After the skill change I moved to Punishing, Savage and Distract, debated between determined and dual for slot 4, kept whirling, debated between kindle and ignite, added some minor enchant removal and I switch between storm chaser and res sig depending on what I'm doing. So yes, my build has been very similar for quite some time now, infact if you really want to do the math, 75% of my build is unchanged from what I was running 2 months ago.

2 Things:
1. Interrupt Ranger Build isn't that big of a deal. It's a weak team build as they are only strong in #'s. Kill 1 member and they start to fall apart. Designed for easy FP and taking on PUGs and Noob Team Builds.
2. Any team build that focuses on 1 setup for all players is lacking in alot area's and easily defeated.
(Has anyone ever heard of Me or E classes both of which has protection agenst this setup.)
Edit: Mis-spell

lol.
i have seen a thread were a monk refuses to group with basically every class. there are many that don't group with W/Mo's
many that don't group with anything /Mo actually
many that don't group with Me/W's
a few that don't group with E/Me's
there are monks out there who will not group with any of the 'fad' builds.
most are either Mo/W's or Mo/Me's

Heh, yup. Been there, done that. Thats when they really need a /swear emote. Of course, i've also managed, through luck more than skill, to distract an orison or 3. My kingdom for facial expressions when that happens

Someone explain to me the reasoning behind blocking out names and skills on pictures. I mean is it really worth the time to do that, will people go ingame and start messaging the hell out of those people? And are people afraid that others will use the same skills as them, like they are the only ones using them and no one else has them.
Jus irritates me, sorry lol.
Anyway, I did random arena a few days ago and the rangers I went up against kicked ass completely. Many were perfectly positioned and just interrupted every skill I used and other casters. As the person towards the first page said, it's just a stereotype like all warriors are idiots (which I tend to believe with my experiences lol. Not all of course)

This is the first time I've heard of someone quitting because of a ranger on thier team. I can't count the number of players I've seen quit out because there was no monk on the team, or because there were 2 w/mo's. What I don't get is, why don't these people at least ask what kind of build the others on the team are using? I've had teams with no healers go as many as 20 consecutive, and teams with 2 healers get smacked down right out of the gate. Its all a matter of working together, and having enough luck to get a group with skills that can complement each other. If the team build means that much to these quitters, why aren't they in team arenas where they can pick and chose?
I'll admit, I have quit out of matches prematurely, but that's only when there's healers, and I end up the only one attacking them while the rest of the team whacks away at a warrior, insisting that they have to take him out or he'll kill us all while we fight the healer. Meanwhile, I'm attacking the healer while getting my butt handed to me by the mesmer or necro.
I kind of like the new fad with all the interupt rangers in random. For a while, I had people telling me how I was wasting my time having mantra of resolve on my skillbar with my mesmer secondaries, and that it was a worthless skill that only n00bs like me would use, yet now, I see more and more players using it, and haven't heard a bad word about it in the past week or two. Those quickshot damage builds still kick my ass if there's more than one. That's what I get for playing classes that draw primary fire.

I love ranger. Made one for my girlfriend so she could learn to play.
Anyhooooo, it really isn't much of a fad? It's like rock, paper, scissors. Just with thousands of hands. People that have not seen much of a good *insert proffesion/2nd proffesion here* probably have a tendency to have a natural dislikeness about it.
*believes there are way too many war/monk and not enough casters*
