Birches
Pre-Seer gotta have one of the best peaceful environments in the game.
This is not far from Fort Ranik. Too bad I died at the moment I got there.. but damn those trees look hefty fine.

An oasis of sorts, untouched by the Charr or the other evils infecting the world.

Whenever I get "home sick" I always take a trip to the Wizards Isle guild hall from the Cantha guy in LA.
Just reminds me of it. But yeah. I just recently seared the second character I ever created, even though I have my 3rd and 4th already over on the other side.
What stopped me from searing my Ranger was one location very specific. Its just west of Fort Ranik, and the common name for the place in Melandru's Garden.

A lot of the areas in pre are really nice and they seem to have a lot of detail to them, i guess this is so people stand around going 'Ooooo', 'Arrrrr' which i did myself and it's a huge difference once you go through.
i'd love to see some nice areas again in the next chapter.
