Mist Form {Elite} - Enchantment Spell
For 8-18 seconds, you cannot take or deal damage from attacks.
10 energy, 2 second cast time, 30 second recharge.

This means you neither TAKE damage nor DO damage...

No, it doesn't. Attacks are the kind that you do with wands, swords, etc. Spells are not attacks. Skills, i'm not so sure about. I would guess that any skills that did some sort of damage thru an attack would be negated, but any other effects (like cripple from axe rake) would still be effective.
Mist form is nice, but like healing hands, it's only effective against attack-heavy builds, and attackers could always just change targets while the enchantment wears off.
[Edit] In this steamrolling build, we've come up against ele's using mist form...most of them die in the first 2-3 seconds after mist form wears off, because by that time all the warriors have enough adrenaline built up for a smash-fest. Plus, we sometimes bring enchantment removal.

you obviously have never played an elementalist
spells are skills, the only ones that do lasting dmg, such as cripple, to my knowledge are Immolate and Incendiary Bonds, wich do burning...

I love how every1 says "us" like their the creators of the build and its theirs and only theirs...the thing this is like a solo monk a complete flaw to the game b/c with so many builds running around you have to bring soothing and etc. on every1 almost to stop this build its kinda stupid also that there making the pets even stonger and faster i think they should make a new class as in a new character that uses pets and pet skills like a Monk is the only one with Divine Favor and Mesmer on with Fast Caster , there should be a Beastmaster with primary BEAST MASTERY b/c its dumb honetsly and all of the so called "YOU" like it b/c it takes no skill what so ever to run this build. Congrats

Oh crap, my iq just dropped. Honestly, back up what you're saying, or else you come across as incoherent and, well, frankly, as a noob.

haha, that's a hilarious build. I hope to see more all-offense minded builds like this, it's a blast to see...

I guess I should be honored and hubmled when I see someone brag about beating EP, but I'm curious where this happened. I know you're not talking about GvG because I know where each one of our losses came from, and there haven't been any recently on either EP or our secondary guild Jet Li...
So I'm assuming it was tombs, which is really where we (along with most other guilds out there) now go to just mess around/toy with builds/PUG while waiting for the GvG crew to come online. Either way, not to discount from your build, but you should qualify where and when we "couldn't handle you"
(edited to fix quote coding)

I'm just wondering how hard it was for you guys to hold hoh after winning it because after my guild won it with 7 w/r and one other we had a very hard time holding the alter just because we had no way of healing the ghost well enough to keep it alive.

That's an interesting problem, isn't it.
Try thinking outside the box.
What worked for us was rushing a team and DPing the snot out of them, repeatedly. By the time the 2:00 mark rolled by, they were so badly DPd that we could make short work of them and concentrate on keeping the third team from capping the altar. (which was easily accomplished by killing them)

No, you can't say whatever you want, which is exactly why I said it, instead of outright deleting your post.

See above. You're an unknown on our site. I'm telling you publicly to clean up your attitude when you post here, or don't bother posting. I don't care about your rank. If you display some public courtesy then you'll get it back in return.
Back on topic:
I hear the build is still working well- I wonder if anyone's tried Revive Animal, and if they have, what were the results? I'd be most worried about the blackout, but can't test it myself right now.

One of the really cool things about this build is that it consists of 8 more or less identical characters.
There's all sorts of fun things you can do by swapping out 1-4 guys for other things, though I'd hesitate to go with fewer than five W/Rs. Every lost W/R is a step away from the berserker spirit that spawned it.
I know of one variation that involves the addition of a N/Mo who hides in a dark corner and spams Heal Party and Orders.

I guess he has to hide really well - if I'd face that team and realize they are healed, I'd be very willing to triple check where this healing is coming from. Nonetheless it sounds like a good upgrade to this strategy and if he's down, it's just more fuel to IWAY

I just ran up against this build with the N/Mo variation. We were running a typical 3/3/2 smite build and were doing really well with it. As soon as my team sees all the pets one teammate says "Look at all those pets, we're going to own these guys! Run in the middle of them and let our AOE murder them." Before I had a chance to warn them, we were down a monk and an ElMo and the IWAY's were starting to kick in.
You all know how the story ends.

Did this build yesterday from Tombs Int Dis 3 and it was a lot of fun. Some ppl started yelling that we stole the build from either him or a 'very good friend of his'.
3 members from my Guild (GOT), 3 from pond-guild (pond) and 2 others.
Did make it to the HoH, but unfortunately were slaughtered to bits by the first team that opposed us.
Really really good fun to play. Just for the ease of it and, well, everyone likes to win, don't they?
Thx Third Quarter for pointing out this very much fun build to me. Doesn't really work in 4v4 though.
