Yea... u can also stop the searing from ever happening by killing the charr at the flame temple 'across the wall' pre sear. Then there would be no point for this game at all.

I've done that with every RP character I have.
Searing still happened.

By the way, I love the conjure cookie... I would kill for a cookie that big (scalewise).

Aforementioned mineral springs is one place to see the end of the GW world, though. I wish they'd sealed it off with, like, mountains, but more dramatic this way, I guess.
