hmm....seems i remember you avidly defending IWAY in an older thread as if that was your build of choice. and i'm sure my memory is correct due to that solid grill in your pic.
anyways, i feel that its against my principles to take the easy way out for some wins in tombs with IWAY. I'm not the bomb-ding-dang-diggity at pvp, i just REALLY enjoy winning in tombs. so i can see why people would use it. no one can say its a creative build by any means, especially when compared to EOE or All-smite monk. but the fantastic thing about Guild Wars pvp is that it has an element of luck attatched to it. If you are facing a Minion build and happen to have some smites - lucky and right on time. If they want to nerf it oh well. balanced will always be fun so i don't really give a flying foot about any nerf-tastic updates in the future. just more interesting builds.

Normal IWAY rarely ever wins tombs anymore, the [MATH] IWAY is somewhat coordinated and it's successful such as alot of other coordinated builds. Sure alot of people in IWAY groups are assholes for the fact everyone says "oh RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO IWAY, IWAY is gay, IWAY = Idiots Will Attack You, IWAY is for noobs who can't pvp, IWAY is this and that". I'd be an asshole to you too, and I don't see why you wouldn't deserve it. I like IWAY and I run it, but I am also skilled enough to run anything else of that matter. So you can't say everyone that runs IWAY is a noob because that isn't true.

my apologies then, no offense meant. must be some substance affecting my memory. since most people here don't like iway, what are your tactics for countering it. i know pvp builds are guarded mafia-style, but maybe if we share how we all counter it instead of simply saying its easy to beat, then it wouldn't come up in every thread.

One of the only reasons that you see IWAY a lot in tombs is because it is an easy pug that people with no exp in tombs can create. i mean my god ive seen people run the ivex trapper premade for iway... Ive seen top ranked guilds (rank 25+) run iway in tombs, seen r6++ iway groups forming... does it end? no.
IWAY is easily countered with spiteful spirit, chain aegis, ward against melee, and a few others as examples. PEOPLE BITCH ABOUT IWAY because they are tired of seeing it over, and over, and over, and over again. Good example. go into observer mode. half of the teams that you see are IWAY. and thats only the ones it allows you to see. PUG's arent rated so you dont see how many there truly are. go to any american districts and half the ID districts, and its iway lfg... Orders nec LFG iway... stuff like that.
its an easy cheap build that does have a bug in it. you should only be allowed to use a corpse of a pet or ally once. i cant raise 9000 minions off a dead ally/pet, why should i virtually gain infinite health off that target? if they did that, youd see iway fal loff the map as it would be virtually ineffective as al lthe warriors cant use pets/people as infinite wells of blood that can work across the map...

man iway goes down so easy if you blind them, or slow down there attack speed, or give them contions, or hex them, or use ward against foes and run from them.

I also have something to add to this spoilers gone IWAY flame thread. Have you tried lately to find a decent PUG that is not running IWAY? Three nights ago, I was in Tombs saying "r4 Air Spiker lfg" for 35 minutes, all districts, with no invites. IWAY is an easy build to run, and it is an easy way to get into a group and learn the maps and strategies for Tombs, its just that simple. My suggestion to all of you IWAY haters is this: Bring counter-measures EVERY time you enter Tombs. If IWAY is no longer effective in tombs, it will be dropped for something else, i guarantee it.
