I gues, just a random moment. Every now and then peoples tattoos and scars glitch and turn completely black, their whole character turns solid black. Looks creepy but cool.

Ok fine,

Take off all the tattoos on your character.

Double click one of the tattoos in your inventory so you equip it,

BUT

Right after you equip your armor on, press the windows button or alt-tab QUICKLY out of the game before the armor appears on your character (there's a 1 second delay when items get displayed on your character), and go back to your game.

Your character should look tattoo-less.

So basically, you just double click on the armor you want, and press the windows button as soon as you do that.

judging from the way it is "created", this glitch is client side, so only you see it
