Thunderhead Keep = Easy Vs Thirsty River
I remember the first time I finished this mission on my ele. It took me 12 tries with some friends.
I just got there with my warrior and decided I should try it with henchmen first.
I couldn't believe how easy it actually was with them. First try and a Success.
I went all giddy ^^

Hooray for you, I tired with all henches and I got to the keep, then got killed by the 2nd Mursaat Boss...
I tried again...got to the Keep...was clearing the Keep...then the henches decided to aggro all the monsters in the Keep...I /ragequit after that...

Another example to show that at THK, henchies are better than 99.9% of the people there...

Is Thirsty River supposed to be difficult? I beat it on my first try and I didn't think much of it afterwards. I beat ThunderHead on my 8th try with a team usin Vent. In my opinion, the most difficult mission in the desert was Elona Reach.

all the desert missions are easy, especially with henchmen
thunderhead keep in nearly impossible with PUGs, not easy with henchies but i never failed with them

all the missions were pretty easy for me, except on my first and main char. took like 15 tries for THK, 2-5 each for desert. I was still a noob lol, but now i beat missions, 1 hit K.O.

I never tried it with all hechies, but I went with a PuG where we took 2 hechman monks because we couldn't get real ones. Well, truth be told, we DID have two real ones that dropped because they didn't get the cap they wanted. We went back and got hechies and easlily beat it. The first time ever I was glad we had hechie monks instead of the real thing.

I don't know... my success vs failure at Thunderhead Keep outweighs the very few times I failed Thirsty River.

Same here... Thirsty seems to only take me 2 tries at the most even with a mediocre group. THK has fried my butt on more occations than I care to remember, though that can mostly be attributed to people not knowing jack ---- about the tactics needed to beat the mission (I.E. retreat to the king).

Same deal with me. On my first char, my E/Mo it took FOREVER to complete that nonsense.. Probalby a good 15-20 tries. Then I was in a real good group on my Monk (4th char) and we did all three missions in a row with zero flaws. Don't think a single person even died heh

THK is easier then thirst especially for monks. I only play it to get guildies through and then i pick up a odd class like a mesmer or a ranger Pick Up Guy to come along so they can beat it instead of sitting... With me and Chuck Norris who could lose?

I played THK with my lvl14 Mesmer and henchies, I was camping the King the whole time. Didn't really seem too hard.
If you're playing with a PUG and you know how to do it, then take the control and start telling them what to do. I'm sure they will listen once they figure out that you know what you're doing.
And thirsty River I only did 2 times, and both times I did it in a PUG in first try so it didn't seem that hard.
Edit: Chuck Norris Rules....
