This build i find works quite well, for me anyway.
Battle Rage (E)
Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Sprint <-- Only for the start/end of an area and for between groups when BR runs out
Live Vicariously
Mending
8 Healing Prayers
12 Strength 10 + 1 + 1
15 Swordsmanship 12 + 3
The set out of attributes may not be perfect but i like my Knights helm too much
All i do is run past the first Wild, kill the 2nd and cast Mending + VC, kill the Scout then proceed to pound ettins. Taking on more than 4 at a time gets you killed, so you can quite easily just stand against a wall so only 2 or 3 can reach you.
Killing time, i've had anywhere between 20 seconds to 3 attacks. All i use is the Collectors 15% enchanted Sword with an Icy mod (if i could find 1 i'd put a +7 vs Physical on it) and it can get me upto 180 in a lucky FT to there Siggy.
Schutz, i really don't believe THAT was 19 minutes work. I farmed them for an hour and got 1 Gold armour, then in the next 30 minutes i gained another 11 Gold armours. Its just a shame now that Sup Absorptions are dropping that often its hardly worth finding them anymore...

i sell all of them. the only decent one is major vigor and youll waste more time than its worth trying to sell to a player instead of of just to the rune trader.
as a general rule, i never salvage any majors but vigor (used to do absorption, but that only fetches 25gold now) - i just sell the whole thing intact to the merch. same goes for superiors for me- if its a good rune (ie sells to rune trader for more than what the merch would pay for the pauldron, ill salvage and sell to rune trader. the only superiors i even consider holding to sell to players are sup monk runes, sup abs, and sup vigor (and honestly, ill usually sell those to the rune trader too). try selling any others to players and honestly youll just waste alot of time for a tiny amount more profit.
hope that helps

Man, I've been getting the worst drops ever.
I'm not going to cry nerfed, but it sure feels like it.

I've got this new W/Mo build that works amazingly well, but you need the Canthan elite skill Triple Chop and a zealous axe for it to work.
Equipment
15k Platemail (!) Armor (Yep, you don't need Glad's armor )
Weapon Slot 1 - Wing's Axe (Zealous Green axe, this build will not work without a Zealous Axe!)
Weapon Slot 2 - Victo's Axe (Any non-Zealous axe will work here, equip when not fighting)
Attributes (I have done both 15 attribute quests and have some minor runes on my armor as well)
Healing 10
Strength 12
Axe 12
Skills
Cyclone Axe
Disrupting Chop
Penetrating Blow
Executioner's Strike
Triple Chop
Vigorous Spirit (I only use this if I accidentally aggro too many ettins)
Live Vicariously
Sprint
Strategy
Basically, get 2-3 ettins (recommended, but you can do more, it's just harder) and use Cyclone and Triple Chop to keep up your adrenaline and energy. My health NEVER drops below 500 and my energy is not a problem either.

Weapon
Axe with +15% dmg energy -5 would be the perfect option
Armor
Glads is fine
Notes:
Healing sig alone might seem too risky but believe me, if u fight max 3 its not a problem and its quick killing. U can survive

For the first time in a long time, I went yesterday and got a couple of minor runes but nothing major or sup.
If this is common experience, maybe they changed the drop frequency along with the improvement in major runes.

I wish i'd noticed the change to Major runes... i had 12 of them when i'd done and just sold the armours straight to the merchant.

Yeah, I've just started fiddling around with farming here with my elementalist. I've run it about 7 or 8 times now, and have gotten at least one superior rune each time, once or twice got 2 in a run, and also got numerous other runes. Seems pretty fun.

All I do is run out with no enchantments on, find a safe spot past the first ettins and birds (or inbetween them), put on enchants, get a massive agro (like 3 or 4 ettin groups), use vig. spirit, and go to work.

Yeah, Brother Dependant has got it down. That's very similar to the build i use and looks to be just as effective, taking on every ettin you see at once. Much more fun than only being able to aggro 2 or 3 at a time.
