How is ettin farming going anyway as i could use a few more sups that i would prefer not to buy from the vendor?Those are some great build keep up the good work save some for me.

comparing a normal clean max dmg sword to a perfect sword isn't all that much , just more dmg but its ok

and drokes plate is 95 armor vs pshycial so thats ok too

What bothers me is that ppl buy swords with 15^50 and all that stuff for tonns of gold.And dont customize it, incase they want to sell them later

A customized sword has got 20% alll the time so my tip is to buy a cheap sword and customize it

nah I've found most of my weapons , i got about 6 swords with different mods, no 15^50 but i do have 15% (stance) and (enchanted) and i got different pomeels on each, 15%^50 i find quite lame and too expensive , all of mine are customized and i only payed for one which was 15k, same goes for my axes.

IS kinda lame in some ways.... overratted compared to 15% -5 energy
and when you've got builds with constant stance or enchanted you mayaswell use one of those.

yeah i got 2 of those , both with +5 armor and one has a zealous hilt and the other furious

lol why you got so many , they're not hard to get

theres another collector for bleached carapaces too , i do rockshot runs when im bored , never thought of selliong these swords O_O

1 carapace is worth 25g
Bleached carapaces-5x25=125g at trader
1 troll tusk is worth 8g
Troll Tusks-5x8=40g at trader or you take the 5 and trade for any of 4 items that are worth 125g each.

44 empty slots +225 troll tusks =5625g for a short run.Ever notice people spamming WTB all your tusks 15g each?

I'm not even going to hit you guys with technical data. I have plenty of notes on my desk (for comparisons, equipment data, etc.) but it's not really needed...

Slapped the build together. Had to spend 2 plat on skills.
Went out, killed the first group of Ettins.
Superior Absorption and Minor Fire, plus miscelanious materials.

I'm happy with it

This means that Ettins are not nerfed, for one. And, I must say, this build works quite well... I may tweak it a bit, or maybe even combine it somehow with dont feel no pain's Hydra farming build (still love that by the way).

Excellent job with this, Amsterdam.

i used the regular build, W/Mo and i got:

major energy storage
major vigor
major blood magic
major death magic
major hammer mastery
minor vigor(x2)
minor strength

i recommend this type of farming it is quick money.

That happend to me too, then I ran the Great northern wall and started farming ettin with my build and I get about 1-2 White pauldrons every 2-3 runs now.

Well, after about 10-20 runs today, my spoils of war were:

1. Superior Healing rune
2. Endless piles of crap.

I think ANet just hates me.

i got 3 sup runes in 1 run:

sup divine favor
sup air magic
sup hammer mastery
sup vigor

Ettins have been very profitable for me. The first few days I tried it I got 4 superior vigors and a ton of monk runes. I still occasionally get that kind of stuff, but I have to be really bored to farm ettins. As for speed, I think the sword build is a lot faster, but I like the axe build better for some reason.

Yesterday I tried Ettins with a zealous sword (with +15^50 and armor +5).
Using this sword combined with Flurry and hundred blades (+ 4 adre skills wich I think everybody knows

) is just amazing, I advise you to try this if you can. Exept the fact that Ettins don't love me anymore (I didn't drop anything good in my 3 or 4 last run) this built kills them very quickly !
