9 beast mastery
15 sword
rest on tactics
zealous long sword of defence
15% (stance)
customized +20%
1.tigers fury
2.sever artery
3.gash
4.galrath slash
5.final thrust
6.savage slash/distracting blow/watch yourself
7.victory is mine
8.sprint
worked a treat + vim is acauly a realy nice heal + u dont get a 2 sec cast time or -40 armor when u do it , and u gain 5 energy.

16 axe
13 strength
flurry
disrupting chop
evciarate
executioners
pentrating blow
doyalk sigit
live vicsoauly
sprint
as for mending fans out there ............... LIVE VICAROUSLY is suprior to mending bwahahah

Live Vicariously would be overkill, and it would mean that I need to switch off my vamp axe when I am not killing.
To say a skill sucks and boycott it just means you have less options on your plate and makes you a less complete player IMO :P
Warriors Endurance, for example is a skill which is probably never used. I have some very interesting ideas for it, ideas which would allow me to solo areas that otherwise would be deemed impossible. I'm glad I didn't disclude it from my skillset

Along with that setup, use a Major Vigor and a Major Absorbtion. Your shield should also have negative dmg mods, when enchanted. I can take ettin groups down REAL fast, and take on as many as i want without trouble! I think this Axe build was already presented, but::
Executioner's Strike
Eviscerate [elite]

Works best with a set of Gladiators Armor for that extra energy. You can use a Vamp Axe, or anything you want, just DONT use a Zealous axe.
Right before i aggro ettins, i cast Mending and Balths, which leaves me with 8 energy. I then use Sprint to aggro as many ettins as i can (in the first area outside Beetletun i can aggro 8-10 depending on spawn). After they are nearly all aggroed and are starting to hit me, i caste Vigorous Spirit. By now i should have PLENTY of energy and can cyclone directly after i caste Vig Spirit. The small amount of dmg will be recovered, and my health will easily top off. I use the same strategy that this guy uses::

This method works with ANY size aggro. I often Disrupt one or two then concentrate on the third to kill, and then come back to the others if they are still alive. Continure that method with the rest of the aggro. You recast Vig Spirit as needed, Cyclone Axe as MUCH as possible, and disrupt as many heal sigs as you see. This setup should keep you alive quite nicely, i have never gone under 50% health with this setup...

EDIT:: I found my inspiration, from Nickelocene in post #10. Which btw, you dont need any tactics in this build, unless its for your shield. I use a strength shield so i can concentrate on only 3 attributes. yar!!

Almsot every W/Mo build listed here either uses weapon+heal+tactics or weapon+heal+pront. With a conjure not only do you have that full time enchant, but you're doing damage with it as well.
Of course, you mention gathering larger groups than I bother with. Maybe you really need it. Whatever works for you.

i think u should drop balthzars spirit and take a zealous axe haft and since u will oly be using one skill that costs energy in a fight that lasts 30 sec and 5 erngy u might not even need balthzars spirit or a zealous axe haft, then u have an extra skill slot for more dmg , e.g pentrating blow.

Never think for a second that Ettin Farming out in Beetletun will get you anywhere. For if you do you may be missing out on some of just a few of the things I've got from Farming Ettins in just 1 day:

I WAS using the disrupting axe build....but have made my own far superior sword build with the warrior that just annihillates them!

8 in healing prayers, 16 in sword and rest in strength...this is by far faster then the axe build. Try it out and I'm positive you will agree!
I also use glads armor, knights boots..sup vigor, sup absorption, sup sword and sup strength. My health is only at 380 but never ever falls below 7/8-3/4! I use a strength shield with a -2(stance) +-2(while enchanted), fiery dragon sword with a 15% always -5 energy, and +5 armor...works like a dream!

Here is my own build is completly own to me it works good but u there some rulz;U will not chat when u farming with this build,And u never lose your attention from the skill bar and ettins skills here is the build of warrior/ele farmer
use axe[not anything special]
now the skills;
doylak signet/or armor of earth
healing signet
defy pain
exectioner strike
power attack
distrupting chop
sprint
frenzy/or flurry
attributes:
10 axe mastery +2 rune
10 streght+1 rune
10 tactics+1 helm+1 rune
armor:
ascalon helm
the rest is gladiator armor
now in the case you want to use armor of earth the attributes goes;
8 earth magic
10 axe mastery +2 rune
10 streght+1 rune
10 tactics+helm+1 rune
the tactics is the same like very other build make at the start the frenzy/flurry then defy pain and remember too make it again over and over u'll kill all ettins without and difficulty but when you end the battle defy pain will end too and you gonna have 1 hp but don't freak out heal yourself and go to the other group it will take more time but is still my own very special build

Ok, so just to get things clear, whats the best run for farming ettins? the place outside beetletun has around 12, but when i go to the one near ascalon settlement, i only see around 7.

I have yet to try farming w/ my Warrior. But I imagine an Ettin build would go somthing like this.

Wow i must be a nub...
Yeah that first post... How the heck do you stay alive? I found myself continuosly using heal sig... And killed like 1 every like minute. After reading all these builds i really dont want to try all of them out. Which one works the best and efficient?

Man!! thxs!! good build! i have been farming this for 2 days now and have gotten atleast 5 sup runes (not always worth so much) 10 major and 10 or so minor! my last run i got 2 sups and 4 majors! nice.

Did they nerf the Ettin farming? I have been there for days now. At first, I was getting gold and purple pauldron drops all the time. Now, I can go for hours and not get a single drop.

Usually I use Rust along with Dolyak sig and deperation blow. I do atleast 75-100 dmg per hit since they take forever to heal sig. It seems like they are nerfed though. :/
