maybe you should tone down the brightness or tweak the contrast, that probably is not good for your eyes

I had only experience that once in the entire game at one area =/ Not even the shiverpeak make my face glow like that.

The brightness and contrast is also on defulat.

There are certain places in the UW (Frozen Wastes) where the lighting makes pale skinned characters appear even more pale and gives a ghostly glow like you see in the OP screenshots.

Additionally, on the beach in FoW, the lighting bleaches almost all color and can make light colored armor appear nearly white.
