All Mesmer Underworld Expedition - The Sequel
Hi
After last weeks very succesful all mes underworld run, we decided to come back and see how far we could get.
The Team build was very similar to last time, except I had swapped out Frozen burst for blinding flash and we used an IW warrior with stances
Huge thanks must go to the whole team, who were
Geraldine Griffiths
Myself
Quick Rinoa
Don J Durandal
Aurora Vicious
Deprive Will
Pru Meyers
Tara Westgate
Comiserations to pru and Tara who err 7'd just after clearing chaos plains
The Team After Clearing smites
Other Quests we did, but I wont bother doing the screenies were
Cleared Chamber
Freed Vale Reaper
Freed Twin Serpents reaper
wrathful spirits(Vale Reaper)
Escort of Souls
The Demon assasin(Twin serpents reaper)
Unwanted Guests
After Freeing reaper and clearing Chaos plains we moved to Spawning pools. Sadly just after we cleared chaos reaper we had two error 7s
Completed Unwanted Guests
Freed Spawning Pools reaper and did Terrorweb Queen
Freed bone pits reaper and did Imprisoned Spirits
Completed the Restore monuments quest
Huge thanks again to the team, it was an immense run and is well and truely an achievement to be proud of.

Oh boy, if you ever need another mesmer for such a trip, or a FoW trip let me know. I have TS and Vent, and I'm on the Euro server.
And Luned needs skill points desperately - especially after that idiot messed up our UW trip last night.

Again, very nice!
You've inspired me to do the same, only within our guild, AL. We've been wanting to do something with all Mesmers for some time, but because of conflicting schedules, America not having favor ( ), etc, it hasn't happened. But I have been working on a 8-person build of my own(took 4+ lovely hours), and within about a week or two, we'll be heading into the Underworld. So hopefully we'll be able to show off show off the American server's Mesmerliness. I can't wait to post those screens.

Thanks all. It was huge fun.
I enjoy making babies cry. Energy was never an issue thanks to focus switching and knowing when to use what. Mesmer skill are situational so the total energy usage is less than the total of the skill bar.
It may look totally messed up, and in a normal team it totally is, but it's designed to act like the filler into the gaps the other team members have in their builds. So don't worry, Baby Gwen will settle down soon - lol
I'm so looking forward to see people's trips on here . Go mesmers

I tip my hat for you guys. If only more people would see this and maybe come to the conclusion that you don't always need a cookie-cutter group to have success.

So how long did all this take? and to be clear, you missed clearing the spawning pools, the spawning pool quest, and the four horsemen, correct?

We went in about 8pm and completed about 01:20am. If you look at the screenies you can see we did spawning pools and the quest(easiest 10K xp ever). We could not have done restore without freeing the spawn pools reaper.
We did'nt manage to do Ice King and the 4 horsemen, primarily because we were down to 6 players at that point, having lost a monk and a damage dealer
Drops, one of our mes/monks got 2 ectos, 14>50 storm bow and a couple of nice items. Someone else got 3 ecto and other 2. I think about 14 ecto in total.
As for no rez sig, not needed. Not everyone in the party needs a rez so long as it's well coordinated and people are experienced enough to know when to retreat/sacrifice etc.
When I go down with non friends/non guildies I take a rez sig, as until we get playing I have no idea of the quality of players. But in a group that all knows what they are doing, it's just not needed on every player. Just make sure you know who has and who has'nt got one.
