We were just telling a guy in the group that ecto does drop in Fissure and he didn't believe us. He called us noobs and everything. Well karma reared about 10 minutes later and I took a screen shot.

Yep, ecto drop in fow (only from banshees i think), i hate it when people go like "i haven't seen it, therefore, you must be wrong, noob, and i have 15k armor".

And i've never heard of these Banshee's..

My friend told me over skype that he got a ruby off a smite in UW, I told him to screen shot it and send me it, ill post it once I get home tomorrow(300mi away)

his 1st ruby drop was from an aaxte, I still didnt belive him.. didnt think it was possable but, now I question it... he's been playing for maybe 2~3months?

My first Ruby was from an Aatxe too, seconds was from an spider in FoW and have seen one from the Shadow army. I'm guessing they can drop from anything in FoW/UW.

BTW why the heck would he lie about getting Rubies? If I were him I'd say I got a req 8 gold Crystalline from a Dying Nightmare.

at the time he had only play'd for 3 weeks... his 2 characters said "days"

Personally I use to solo aaxte's and dou'd alot of ecto (apart of a necro set chest and leggings, plus monk shoes handwraps and leggings, all other parts where pure gold buys from the old riverside rune runs/region merge, over 10mo's)

Yet have only found 2 shappires and not a single ruby... so for him to find 2 within such little time, was hard for me to grasp(I think they recently changed drop rates, or a lil lucky duck)

yes I have 2 monk fow pants... I like to freak people out and swap them fast for periods of time till they ask "WTF!?!??!" current colors are red and green, my common remarks are "My pants are in 3D"
