SS that low req doesnt matter!
Im getting sick of always hearing how the higher your attribute is above your req the more damage you do, and your RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOING WRONG. The only thing that affect dmg regarding requirement is how high your att is, regardless of your req. Here are four different axes all with 35% dmg, max slashing dmg, 15 axe mastery. 2 have req 10, and 2 have req 12. Wild blow was used in each screenshot to insure a critical hit with every attack. And 113 dmg was done in every hit.
While this does nothing to prove low req weapons have a high crit hit chance, although im sure the same misconception cause that little rumor. Also, there is no way to calculate critical hit chance to my knowledge. Im standing by the same principle for this as above ^^^

it's simply "the higher your attribute level is, the more damage you do", that has nothing to do with the req of your weapon, you simply would've done more damage with axe mastery on 16, and less with axe mastery of 14 and lower. Once you dive below your req however the damage decreases a lot, so if you only had 10 axe mastery, your req12 axe would perform very poorly compaired to the req10.

Wow, over 2 million experience. Seriously how long did that take? I've played for about 175 hours total on all characters in the last 5 months and i thought that was a lot. My combined experience for all characters, 3 of which being lvl 20's is not even close to 1 million.

A warrior farmer gets a lot of xp in real short time, and a monk 2. having more then 2 mil xp is realy hard and req lots of gaming time with out farming the only way to get a lots of xp is to do lots of UW or FoW missions, and If u realy want to get a lot of xp do UW alone or with 2, but that is not cool and to me it does not count as real game xp if u have done it a few times the rest is allways the same.

thank you for posting the obvious, i thought that was just common sense, now the real test is to prove the rumor that the lower the req the more chance you have to get a critical hitis true or not

The reason on buying low req weapons of 9 or less is to make some builds
possible. ei: some builds will require 14 in tactics, 14 or so in blood (or whatever
the second profession is) and will leave you with only enough attribute points to
have 9 in your weapon skill.

derrty, do you still have the full ss of the vamp axe? did you do a total of 116 damage with it (displayed as -113 -3)? the pic gets cut off a bit on the right, where the additional -3 would be if it was there.

value is judged on desireability of the skin and rarity. obviously, all things being the same, lower req items are just more rare and therefore more expensive. perceived notion is that the more expensive an item is, the better it is. entirely wrong in this game as long as you meet the requirements of the weapon.

Some people want low req. items for collectibles and some want them so they don't need to put 13 into axe mastery when they could only put 7 into it and spread the rest elsewhere.

Actually has to do with skins, I find that chaos axe skin does lower damage than other ax skins except for doubled-bladed axe skin. crystalline does more damage than other sword skins. War hammer skin with the spikes does more damage than the other hammers, and war hammer without spikes. So I believe the skin of the weapon has a role in damage.

Point One:
Necroposting can be ftw, and in this case it may be, but please don't make it a habit...
Point Two:
Why must the majority of your posts as of late be so obviously trollish?
