It comes out as a very off white. It is not possible to get bleach-white armor.

I know you can't get bleach white armor, but I have also seen screens of the 1 yellow + 3 silver formula put on different armors and some look better than others. I am just wondering if Assassin armor is one of the ones that looks decent.

Have you actually tried this combo on Assassin armor? Do you have a screenshot of it? Cuz based on what I have read, that would not make a very good white at all.
I appreciate people trying to help, but I am not looking for a formula to make white (I already read the thread on white dye), I am looking for screenshots of attempts to turn Assassin armor white.

Ah. Silver+silver+silver+blue is the best combo.
It's a light blue that's almost white.

^got a screenshot? I have tried that combo in the past and gotten crap results.
On every assassin armor I have seen, the typical Y+S(3) comes out as the same Off-White color. That is except for Shing Jea armor, inwhich case it comes out gray.

No Actually
Here is the off-white color I am talking about. Though it's on Mesmer armor, it is still pretty much the same color you get when you use the typical "white" dye mix on Assassin armor.
And about the Shing Jea armor, it was a dirtier gray, not just silver. I know my dyes better than to make such a mistake.
I have been dabbling in the dye field for quite some time (I can only guess that is where all my missing gold ends up) and I have always found the best way to find out things like this is to try them yourself. Try just dying your chest peice for now with the Typical Y+S(3) combo, if you don't like it, try something else...It cost money, but it much more effective than waiting for someone else to try it for you.

Thanks for the pic. That is about what I was hoping to get. I am going to mix some things myself, I thought someone would have a white armored assassin pic that they could post, but I guess not.

Like I said. The triple silver and one blue looks white to me.
But, I think in nightfall we might get bleach...

^will you please post a screenshot?
And Edwardo, if that color in the picture I post is in fact that color you want, then the recipe is Silver+Yellow+Silver+Silver

Does it matter exactly what order you combine them? Cuz I asked a guildie and he said no. I added silver to yellow then added two silvers and i got the following on my leggings.
Should I add the yellow to silver first, instead of silver to yellow?

no it doesn't matter most times, so long as you don't do Silver + Silver + Silver + Yellow, that is the only time it matters. You want to do two different colors first, then add more, otherwise you waste dye;
Silver + Silver + Silver + Yellow = Silver + Yellow
Yellow + Silver + Silver + Silver = "White"

there is no white there is only off-white, as I said everyone hoping for bleached white is out of luck.
