Most ive ever had was roughly 1070k + 110 ecto + 107 shards + 4 black dyes. I havnt farmed in ages though so im down to 920k now but i still have all the ecto, shards and dyes. I dont have a picture of when i had that much money, but i could take a pic of my current money later. Ill post it in a few hours when im able to get on Guild Wars.

gold's purchasing power changes...probably more than anything in GW.
back in august 1 million gold would get you 2, MAYBEE 3 8 15>50 weapons. as the price of weapons, materials, etc change value the value of gold doesnt necissarily change...1 gold coin is still 1 gold coin, but that gold coins purchasing power changes. same reason why when you compare money from today, and money from the 1940s you have to say "XXX amount of money in the 1940s is worth XXX amount today" because the purchasing power has changed so much. ever had your grandfather tell you "back in my days a dime would get you a soda?" well...now they will typically cost you $1.00 (and the ever-popular $8.00 at a nightclub or sporting event )

as for posting 1mil gold in storage, im not even gunna entertain that request. 1 mil gold is so insignificnt these days...

I remember when a req 13 14>50 spartha with +30hp had bids of 300k lol

It was recently brought to my attention by someone in Ice Tooth that I make fake bids and have no money to back them up. I don't think it is true, but I guess I'll have to bow to the wisdom of people that know me and my finances better than I know myself.

Most I ever had is: some ecto, gold, and shards.

Currently 30k, but i have 8k tats, 1 1/2 Sets of Warr 15k Armor 1 3/4 Sets of Kurz 1.5k ( Cost Me 65k to do the whole thing, but Amber was @ 2k), 2nd Account with a sup vigor and Abs

Buy low sell high disgusts me. It means you willingly abuse new players for good items which you in turn abuse new buyers for a slightly larger sum.
The most I have had is about 120k

Is it a bannable offence? No.

In real life people do it all the time. Antique dealers, art dealers, car dealers etc.

Have I ever sold anything rediculously cheap and underpriced? Nope, every gold I had I kept and had it price checked. There wouldnt be power trading if people actually took the time to check what their items are worth.

There is only one person to blame for it happening and it isnt the buyers its the sellers.

In real life is it an arrestable offence? No, it is common in our society for people to do this.

Who says anything about new players? Could be people too lazy to find out what their stuff is worth. Could be people who are just plain dumb. Its not my fault they want to sell me their stuff for low prices.

I have made more gold in a matter of minutes than most people have made ever.
