A bit of gimp help please
I was working on a new avatar[the pengiun one needs a rest ], and I wanted to not have a background color, I learned how to make something like that in photo shop, but I use gimp, a similar program. Now, I've tried to copy the target avatar and put it on a transparent background, but, no matter what file type I save it as, a messages comes up saying that the format can't handle it, and the ignore option gives me a black background. So if anyone knows how gimp works with this kind of stuff, mind helping me out?
never mind! now to get rid of that line on the right side...
