Default A Little Help Please

Ok, i play guild wars on my "compaq" lap top and for some reason i cant take srceen shots or movies like others do. i cant make movies at all. when i do screen shots i have to minimize gw pull up a prgram, pull gw back up, put it into a smaller panel and then take the pic, then i have to go use the program and save the pic. this seems like alot of trouble compared to what ive seen. can somebody help me.
by the way ive tried the insert/prt sc key and ive used it in combo with shift with ctrl with alt. i just cant make fast pics and i would like to do a movie. so please some advice
cause im at a loss

Screenshots as in .BMP are made by press Print Screen.

Movies: Fraps, Hypercam, Gamecam and consorts.

Are you sure print screen isnt working? You may have to hold down the Function (Fn) key to get it to work.

Remember screentshot are saved to your guild wars folder.

Ex: C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Screens\

Sauce has the answer - Notebooks (at least Compaq/HP ones) have a FN key you have to hold down to activate PRT SC.

you can also change your print screen button in the options tab.....go down to misc: print screen and change it what ever non assigned button you want.......I had to do this since my new keyboard didnt even HAVE a print screen button! (wasnt using the ins button so that is now my print screeen button, works like wonders too ) My problem was the crapppy screen shots my laptop took (see some of my other posts in the post your sexy... and you too can see a laptop's [without a graphics card] screen shots).
