Personal opinion the ancient socks stick out like a sore thumb with any armor combo since the sock portion of the feet are always red all you can change in dye is the sandals.

Thanks a lot for the pics! The second one does look a lot nicer. My monk has a very dark tan(tyrian) so my ultimate plan was to try to make the tats dye as faint/invisible as possible.
