Shield Question
I just bought elite platemail armor and died it white. I was wondering which shield you think matches elite platemail the best that will also be dyed white.
Also, should I get a shield with a strength or a tactics requirement?

Go with Strength, what Marty says about Tactics for Warriors is true...
Shield skins... ?
Shadow Shield
Guardian of the Hunt
Ebonhand Aegis
Echovald Shield
(too bad Enameled Aegis is Tactics... :cry
(to name a few)
[ EDIT ]
Forgot the Darkwing Defender (thanks Lumi!)
Personally, I use the Undead Shield from the BMP, but I'm in Elite Kurzick, not Elite Platemail...

Partly, I think it depends what weapon and overall style you are using. I never liked using "realistic" weapons (long swords, broad swords, katanas) at the same time as "fantisitcal" shields. My warrior was always partial to more realistic looking equipment (which often got scolds of "noob" why aren't you wielding a Fiery Sword of Awesomeness). So, what is your style?

I liked it with a white Gloom Shield. It looked like it would actually stop a sword blow and complimented the style of the armour. It really does depend what look you are going for.

I use Emblazoned Defender dyed white and like it alot.
Echovald doesn't seems that bad.
I would use Gloom if it wasn't that small.

Yeah, I really like the Colossal Scimitar/Gloom Shield combo. I already bought a perfect Legendary Sword and it matches quite well. Need to buy a shield now. Thanks for the opinion and the picture! Keep suggesting a shield if you'd like, and I think I'll try and get a strength required shield.

It's always handy to have a swap out offhander for energy. Most look pretty stupid on a war with this armour, though. A grim cesta looks ok. When fighting you do look a little like you're nursing a broken arm, but you can't win them all.

If a War is running out of energy in PvE, you're probably running a bad build tbh. In any energy heavy build though (PvE or PvP), swapping to a zealous for a bit is a better option than losing your shield.

Well, tbh Marty, as you have said many times before, almost anything can win in PvE.
I agree with the fact that if you are running out of energy then the build is probably not that efficient, as long as there is a bit of slack given for the areas of the game where there is some nasty e-denial. It's rare, but it happens (Spirit Shackles/Mind Wrack combo on Mergoyles... used to piss me off back when I farmed Ettins).
But, in all fairness to Marty, the most energy-dependent build Warriors should probably be running would be a Scythewar, and that of course is run with Warrior's Endurance as the Elite, which solves the energy needs of that build quite nicely!
[ EDIT ]
Zealous weapons, FTW.

I don't use energy heavy builds. If you don't have a swap out set that will give you an energy boost on the odd occassions that you'll need it then you're only hurting yourself.
