Just picked up an almost perfect Gothic Sheild to go with my other Gothic Armor, and I was thinking about it, I wish it was a darker color. Does anyone have a picture of a uniquely dyed Gothic Sheild? I don't have the resources to check myself, but I don't know if anyone else has.

As far as I know dye have hardly or even no effect at all on those shields...

Sorry, best screen I have right now. Recently cleared out the SS folder. They don't dye bad they just don't dye much. If you don't want a black shield then this isn't the shield for you.

Oooo, those pics show me two things.
First, I can get my black sheild ;P.
Second, I will not be getting a Shadow Blade now.

No problem, and remember thats a gothic shield dyed silver so if you want a shield that looks even darker you can dye it black. I plan to once I find another black dye since buying is a waste.

Mind if I ask why you decided not to get a Shadow Blade now?

gothic shield looks bad for 2 reasons..
1 - it has clipping problems with arms
2 - it has low detail on it compared to all other shields

Only seen it clip on male warriors.. it is pretty low res but unless your zoomed in you can't tell and I don't know many times that you zoom in to your character unless your checking out armor or are in a cutscene.

Other then that it just looks like a shield thats actually used. which is why I like it.

I like clean armor and weapons but a clean shield seems rather pointless since a shield is suppose to block whatever damage possible.

Far as I know only Black and Silver makes it change much.

Going to close this now, its becoming a random dicussion about Mr Rogers

and the shield, and we already have a weapons thread for that kind of thing.
