My sister has her own GW account and she tells me the same thing..that guys mess with her and ask her if she's a girl and what not =|. Believe it or not but somebody asked me if I was a girl in tombs and I was on a male character <<...>>..So I played along with it he started asking me how old I was and such so I told him I was 33 And a Single mother xD and he asked me if I can show him some pics,so I was like..well there's something you should really know I am a 45 year old,male,sexual predator looking for younger guys such as you,what's your adress? I was LMAO he ended up ignoring me XD

the first day that i played GuildWars i created a Female warior(im a guy in rl) cuz i think male look awfull,,,i went outside whit a necro we did some quest and then he started to say that he loved me like this: necro: i realy realy love u!
necro: i love u so much
me: ???
necro:u want to be my girlfriend??!!?
me: WTF!!! im a guy dude
necro as left the game

I had something similar happen. I was playing a female mesmer, and I was out with a PUG in the desert, and at the end of the mission some guy (I assume) complimented me on my doing a good job. I found that really weird, so a few days later, after the player kept whispering me, I put them on my Ignore list, because I felt like I was being stalked. I think the person thought I was a girl.

I ran this kid to Lions arch 4 months ago, and he still pms me and just starts talking to me. I feel like im being stalked.

Haha, I didn't post the rest of the conversation but I bitched at the guy for a short bit after that. I HATE it when people try to tell me they're one of the devs or something. I'm pretty sure people from NC Soft or Anet...well I'm pretty sure they type decently, and I'm pretty sure they're NOT assholes.

LOL I find that very funny

I've only know 3 ppl in guild wars to be a girl in real life for sure. 2 are/were in my guild and the other one asked me when I played my female ele that I deleted 2 seconds after she went to post-sear.

You can pretty much tell if someone is a girl in the game if there character is "dress properely"

I was in Warcamp walking around with my necro and i suddenly got a whisper by someone saying "You are a beautiful Gothic".. I told him "Thank you" and just left..

Then later I come back into town and I got another whisper from someone "Will you marry me?".. :S

Okay.. I am a girl but still falling on a bunch of pixels is really bad....

not always the case...which is probably why my chars get hit on. but hey, they are goregeous

the only "skimpy armor" i refuse to put on a char is the monk tats. so distastful

In a sense this is off topic, but Myoho and I were doing something, I don't remember, but we met this Ranger who said he worked for Anet, and we asked him what his stats are. Ahh, it was for UW, anyway he said he had 16 Marksmanship and 16 Wilderness Survival. He said he got paid in gold and attribute points and not money. If thats how Anet pays its workers, I think the majority of them would go broke and starve to death. : |

Also, back then, I got asked if I were a girl a lot. :/ And the girls in my guild are protected by my pervertedness. A lot of people get uncomfortable with my comments. :P

Hasn't happened to me yet with my female characters, but did in Runescape. There were "boyfriends" in that game. And they occasionally gave you free items. It was fun to take their items and then put them on ignore.
