Heh, I've seen days where Luxons get close to conquering the Kurzicks, then other days where the tables are turned. I wonder what happens when one factions takes all but the mission and PvP outposts. Does a global event happen where the gods proclaim that the Kurzicks or Luxons have won the factions war?

Not that it would be possible for Anet to put that one up before Nightfall goes live, but it would be fun, and we wouldn't have to worry about having certain faction pts, just a set of Canthan faction pts, and you can get either Amber or Jadelites as your reward.

The closest it's every been was just after they made momentum happen, the Kurzicks pushed the Luxons back so far, that we owned every single town except Cavalon and 1 other. On the Korean servers they were 2 matches away from pushing the line back further, but the 3 hour reset kicked back.

I've seen the lines pushed back both ways loads of times. You can capture all towns but you cannot cap missions or Capital Cities.

The map is messed up, because there's no "circle" where Amatz Basin should be (even though you don't have it explored) and arborstone + house are conquered by luxons, which isn't possible.

In fact that must be an old picture from the Factions Preview Weekend, because its impossible to capture missions and capital cities now.

With that note, no point in dicussing this further. Closing
