The sunspear armor is like a blend of 15k Kurz and Tyrian platemail modeling, not that i'm complaining, it still looks pretty nice and tough. I'll probably grab a set for my War. when the time comes. I am really liking the new armor looks all around

i agree that the ranger looks horrible. Its like they took the woody sticks and branches of male druids...and just put some very straight leather in its place.
he could even be wearing pine cones as gloves o.0
Monk and warrior looks real nice, especially the necro. the assassin seems unbalanced with those huge arm blades.
and that mesmer armor looks pretty much like tyrian noble design with different colored areas o.0

Love that warrior armor. Wonder what kind of set it is, 1.5k, 15k?

The Assassin armor would actually look better without the gigantic blades in my opinion.

Seriously, is anyone else find it strange that assassins have so much unusable equipment on they're armor? The FoW has about 20 blades on it (just to mention one) and now they've attached freakin' swords to the arms and legs...

I love the monk and necro armor. Rit looks nice as well, except for the headpiece.
Bit disappointing the mes looks like a reskinned version of Noble with a few extra bits like the lace on one arm. I dunno what they were thinking designing that ranger armor... the gradients look awful. Ele is a tramp as usual I can never look at that ele armor again without picturing the awful image of Christina Aguilera.

I showed that armor to my friend and it made him want to buy Nightfall and Factions (he stopped playing after Prophecies) just so he could make a Nightwing assassin.

there are only a few dye-able places on paragon armor, so it would be white.

but the gold areas would be black, giving it the white-black contrast he was mentioning.
the assassin armor dyed black without those huge blaes would look pretty sweet.

I've searched, but can't find a resource here or on guildwiki for the materials required to craft any of these armors. Do we know any yet? Or is that still too subject to change to be able to tell?
